Don’t bully ME – I’ve given what info I wanted to. This kind of insistence is why I don’t normally bother with responses

Although Melrose Abbey was closed at the moment along with most shops due to a bank holiday, o really enjoyed myself. It was beautiful and gave me time to get a bite to eat. Rosslyn Chapel was open and definitely worth the visit. Sir. Walter Scott’s view was nice and quick but was nice to take in. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a day to see a bit more than Edinburgh. Check for bank holidays and closings before you book but I felt it didn’t hinder my trip

When they left London without us being standing on time at the point for the departure. It was really cold.

We had a fun day thanks to our guide Sean & our driver Mark Wallace. Sean is very knowledgeable and a great story teller. Wished we had a little more time at Melrose Abbey so we had time for lunch but also explore the Abbey. We didn’t get to see the Museum in the back. Still a great tour and definitely recommend it. Rosslyn chapel was extraordinary. Thanks for a great day!

The drive through the countryside was spectacular. Stopping att William Wallace statue, with the guide of Sean was very enlightening. And then the ruins of the abbey were so wonderful.

This tour took us way off the beaten path. We got the chance to experience some of the less well known parts of Scotland.

Although the weather was not really great but the view in the boarder was good.
Bring an ambrella or hoaded jacket because the weather might change anytime.

Our guide was Jim Scott. Jim is a professional photographer and we were able to see the countryside through his photographer’s eye. Scott’s view (Sir Walther Scott) was absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and serene. It was followed by the statue of William Wallace. Can’t believe that the land owner had that statue built himself. The walk to the statue was filled with lovely scenery. We finished the tour with a trip to Roslyn Chapel and a little side hike to Roslyn Castle. WOW! didn’t know there was such a thing as wild garlic. The grounds were filled with it and the scent permeated the air. Jim was extremely knowledgeable and lent his professional eye to taking our photos! I loved this tour and our guide.

Learning the history and significance of Melrose Abbey and the Rosslyn Chapel. Rosslyn offered a speaker that helped you understand what you are looking at. I’m so glad there are funds to keep Rosslyn in the best shape it can be. Unfortunately, not so for Melrose Abbey. However, people are preserving what is there. You need transportation to these places. Viator helps with that. Note: Entrance fees and lunch is not included.

When I originally booked this outing it was mainly to visit Rosslyn Chapel and the Glenkinchie distillery. Sadly enough we found out the distillery was not included in the tour but I remember very clearly that it was in the offer. Granted it is partly my fault for not checking the confirmation more closely and although the tour of the Chapel was enjoyable I had expected to have a more detailed tour of the place. A great disappointment to all of us.

Enjoyed our trip to Melbourne Abbey and Rosslyn Chapel. Our driver was informative and had so much Scottish history to share. Great day!

I enjoyed Melrose Abbey. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the sights seen in this tour. Great job.

Stories by the driver about reivers and sir Walter Scott. Also the comparison of the real story about William Wallace and the movie. The chapel was wonderful and the stories there were great too

I don’t know How to put into words how wonderful tour was. Honestly, I went on this tour because my friend because it was on her “bucket list” of things to see. I am so glad I agreed to go with her on this Magnificent pilgrimage. The Rosslyn Chapel was unbelievable. I had never seen such an interesting, intricate and elevated Chapel in all my travels. Perfection. And that perfection also applies to the local guides and driver on the tour itself. This site and tour is not to be missed. I will never ever forget this experience. Thank you so much Robbies tours and in particular both guides. One of the guides actually lives in the town of Rosslyn and this is his local chapel. The genuine love and appreciation The guides have for the landscape elevated experience. If you’re reading this thinking about taking this tour, I think no more and just do it. Look for the North American MicMac aboriginal corn motif in the chapel itself and it really makes you wonder how? Who? And what was really going on at that time…
