Willie was our driver & tour guy. He was a wealth of knowledge plus he was quick witted which made for a really fun day trip to Heidelberg. Beautiful town & a great view from the castle. Just a very nice trip.

What would have been an interesting, relaxed day out was tainted by a guide who didn’t the entire journey making inappropriate, demeaning and negative remarks, and then having the audacity to try guilting us into giving him a tip at the end. Very detailed feedback about this has been emailed to the company, which has not yet made any attempt to acknowledge (much less respond to) the message.

Not worth paying so much for half-day tour!!! Not even a mineral water was given!!! Disappointed , dissatisfied .
Gregory_H –
A nice trip to get out of Frankfurt. Peter, our guide and driver was very good. The itinerary was good with the castle, museum, old town, lunch, and a walk along the river. The drive was also pleasant.

I’ve done the Heidelberg caste tour twice . Once with George and once with Michael. Both were informative and kind . I highly recommend this your . Only thing I wish is that we got to see more inside castle, like kitchens and bedrooms.

Guide was knowledgable, witty and friendly. Driver was excellent. Castle ruins were awesome. Post stopping and lunch left many choices. Overall an excellent experience
Eric_N –

Wanted to see a bit of Germany even though I just had a couple days, and so I booked this trip. It was very enjoyable and our guide was quite a wealth of knowledge. I had a great time and only wish that it was a few hours longer. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our short trip to Heidelberg with our guide Micheal. He was knowledgeable, friendly and on time.

Thomas was a great tour guide…very knowledgeable and personable. Saw many sights and had time to wander around before heading back to Frankfurt.

George was a terrific guide, full of fascinating history & facts. He enthusiastically shared his love of Germany & Heidelberg. He was very receptive to questions & took the time to explain things, answer questions, etc. Great tour, tour guide & the right amount of time! Thank you so much!
Lambert_K –
Town of Heidelberg was very charming. Castle was interesting to visit. We did the afternoon tour leaving Frankfort at 3:30. We did not arrive at the Castle until 25 minutes before closing which made our castle visit rushed.

It was a very enjoyable trip for our family! Our tour guide, Boris, was delightful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this excursion for everyone!

We paid in advance for our tour, received a confirmation and showed up at the appointed place and time. Once there, the representative cancelled the tour minutes before it was to start. At first we were told not enough people booked the tour (others showed up as well to hear of the cancellation on the spot), then we were told to wait a few minutes only to hear the guide was sick and there was nothing they could do. They did not offer to reimburse us for the taxi fare to get to the meeting point or provide any other options to get to Heidelberg. They provided no communication the day before and eft us with a day we could have used to book a tour with a more reliable company.

Our guide was nice and respectful but this was NOT a guided tour. It was merely transport to and from Heidelberg with the castle included. There wasn’t much said about the town, the history of the place or the castle. Our guide barely mumbled 5-6 sentences to some of the group on the bus on the way to Heidelberg and in Heidelberg. It wasn’t worth it. It would probably be best to get yourself there by bus or train and Google things on the way. We ended up doing that (looking up info) when we had lunch in our 1.5 hour free time in a 5 hour tour and 3 hour round trip to and from Frankfurt (get the money idea?)

Heidelberg is just gorgeous. It is a must when coming to Germany.Peter our guide was very knowledgeable
Bobbie_H –
Peter, our guide and driver, was wonderful! We enjoyed all of the beautiful scenery and the castle and town. Peter showed us where the Christmas store is so I could buy a Nutcracker and another passenger could buy something. Loved this tour!
Kayla_C –
It was a great day! Our tour guide- Peter-was very knowledgeable and helpful when searching for souvenirs.
Rina_Z –
Tour was good except they do not give you enough time to eat and even take a bathroom break. They give you 30 min and that’s it. It would be good if they left an hour to explore.

Our guide, George, was very knowledgable and funny. Our group loved learning about Heidelberg and its story. We were in awe of this beautiful village. This place is a must visit. This was not in our originally itinerary and so glad we found it.

Excellent day trip to Heidelberg. This is a perfect day trip for travelers without much time to spend in Frankfurt. The drive each way is only a little over an hour.
