This was quite a long day, but we knew what we were signing up for, so no grumbles there. However, the tour company office – apparently incorrectly – told the driver some clients wanted to visit Strassburg – that would have meant a VERY long day. After some discussion on the bus, it was decided to just do Heidelberg and Baden-Baden.
Both H and B-B were good to visit and wander around, and the driver provided good background in each. We had a crisis when one tour member got separated from the rest of the party in B-B, but we managed to find her after searching. I was greatly impressed by the driver’s professionalism in coordinating the search. The final segment in the mountains south of B-B was magic.

Our guide Peter was outstanding. We had a small group of 7, he took the time to walk with us through the streets of Baden Baden and Heidelburg. He always made us stay while he went and got the mini van and save us from walking the extra mile. Outstanding service by Peter, he never rushed us and provided excellent commentary on Heidelberg, Baden-Baden and Black forest. Ask for Peter, it will be worth it.

Wonderful day trip. Unfortunately, the vehicle was small, old and cranky. I had to sit away from my husband throughout the journey. This was made up by including Salsburg in the day trip. Guide/driver was very knowledgable and tried hard to ensure all aboard got to see what they paid for. Overall, a very erwarding day trip.

Coach was a minibus that was not heated at all in the middle of winter, so we all froze the entire day. There was no canal tour in Strasbourg. Because another couple had booked Heidelberg too we went there at 8pm meaning we didn’t get back until 10pm. In a freezing minibus. Guide didn’t give name.

The tour itself is very nice and the driver was a very nice gentlemen but we had no guide with us. The driver was our guide which poor him was trying his best but he jut don’t have all the info… too bad the cities we went to were very nice.

Le tour à Heidelberg et Baden-Baden au départ de Francfort référence IT-1037327701 a été annulé le 16 octobre et nous n’avons jamais été avisés. Nous nous sommes présentés à l’agence et ils nous ont dit qu’ils n’allaient pas à Heidelberg cette journée-là mais plutôt à Baden-Baden et Strasbourg. Nous étions rendus à l’agence donc nous n’avions pas d’autres choix que d’accepter ou bien de tout simplement ne pas aller à Baden-Baden comme nous l’avions planifié. De Baden-Baden, c’est un long trajet pour se rendre à Strasbourg et de Strasbourg à Francfort au retour, un trajet encore plus long de plusieurs heures. Nous sommes revenus à Francfort à 21h. Nous avons passé la majeure partie de la journée sur la route plutôt que de visiter comme ça devait être et en plus, c’était notre dernière journée à Francfort donc nous n’avons jamais pu visiter Heidelberg. Très déçus de cette expérience. Faudrait voir avec l’agence l’absence de communication. Merci.
