A solid all round tour with a bit of everything included. Food and drink a tasting was really interesting and well done. We spent a good amount of Etna walking around and watching the sunset. If you’re expecting more of a ‘hiking’ experience then this probably isn’t the right tour for you. We loved this trip however, as Dan made it for us. He’s a funny bloke that made the experience worthwhile

They tour was wonderful. Giuseppe was a phenomenal tour guide. He is very knowledge of Mt. Etna and the surrounding area. We had about 8 of us in the tour. Our first stop was a cave that had been formed from the lava flow. Then we went to Enteca Dell’Etna, it is a farm that grows olives and grapes. We did a little tasting of the different olive oils and wines. The volcanic ash that the olives and grapes give the oils and wines a different taste (better than other wines). Then we made our way up to Etna. Here we went into an inactive crater and was explained the different color of rocks. Then we climbed up another crater to watch the sunset. The sunset was great (probably better in the spring and fall when not so much haze). I recommend this tour to everyone!!! We will definitely be coming back.

This was one of the highlights of our 2-week Italy trip. Regarding the tour itself, definitely worth the price. The sights were beautiful and experience unforgettable. The food tasting was fantastic – we bought half the gift shop when we left! And the staff there were extremely welcoming.
What made the experience even better was our guide, Giuseppe. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and fun. He even dropped us off directly at the restaurant we had dinner at. Could not recommend this tour more!!!

Giuseppe was a wonderful guide! Our tour began with a brief history of Sicily as we left Catania. He took great care in noting points of interest as we made our way from one stop to the next. He was well informed about all things Etna and, obviously, enjoyed what he was doing very much! A beautiful sunset and a great tour!

Loved this tour! Nando was a fantastic tour guide, was lovely learning all the details about the volcano. We first did the tasting, and yes, it is a small tasting, but it does exactly what it says on the tin: you taste a couple of different wines, jams, olive oil and different shots that they produce on the farm. All very tasty! Second we went in the small cave, nothing to worry about or to be scared about, few minutes to look around and we were off. Then we did our Etna walk and Nando made sure he adapted to everyone’s needs: one couple didn’t wanna walk, so they stayed in the bar chalet and then he came with us and another couple, who wanted to walk. We walked over a couple of inactive craters, the view was clear, fantastic and even managed to have a little sunset, we were very lucky with the weather. Being scared of heights, I can’t believe I hiked that high, very proud of myself and very happy I did it. If I can do it anyone can! The walk itself is nothing major or difficult, a light walk really, but like i said seriously thoroughly enjoyed this tour. One of the highlights of my sicilian trip!
