The info tha Giovanni gave us made the difference. He is kind, enjoyable and passionate about his work. He was on time at the meeting point in the morningand on the way to the cable car we made several stops and he explained to us the history, the formation and the evolution of Etna.
We stoped to try local honey, wine and olive oil at a local producer.
I definetely recommend the tour! Thank you, Giovanni!

I joined a group of people for a tour to Etna.
Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgable and a safe driver.
Seeing Etna and the craters and cave was interesting.
At one point on top of the Craters Silvestri the winds were so strong that it felt a bit unsafe.
The tasting of local food at the end of the tour is more like sending you through a crowded shop to buy things.

The tour could have been fantastic without the “guide” we drew for this adventure. Completely self absorbed (with his superior knowledge) he took pleasure in finding ridicule in the guests along with his continued usage of off color language. Perhaps some counsel may be in order?

Giovanni the driver, amazing guy funny,chill,cool, but also knows extremely well mt. Etna and the geology and history behind it. 100% great experience as a mountain and the cave and fields and the city with the honey but Giovanni made the trip worth it.

We had a fantastic time. Our guide, Giovanni, was friendly, very knowledgeable about Etna and the surrounding area, and nothing was too much trouble. We loved being able to stop and get out for walks and photos, and the whole experience of going up an active volcano was incredible! The wine, olive oil and honey tasting on the way down was also a lovely experience and very tasty! Thank you Giovanni, this was our favourite day of the holiday so far! Highly recommended

This excursion has nothing special. Juste bring you to the mountain and leave a walk around 30 mns. Take you a few shops for souvenirs : honey and oil. There is NOT of particular interest for 60€

The period of March-April is the best time to take this tour because the temperature is not too high and is not too crowded. This tour was amazing thanks to our guide, Orazio Romano, a very pleasant companion who shared with us the whole history of volcano. He proved to have thorough knowledge about the history of the Sicily island and answered to all our questions (we had a geologist in our group). We also had a great time tasting gourmet delicacies produced in the Mt Etna area. Orazio explained a little bit about how the wine is produced and told us about the town of Bronte where pistachio trees grow due to topsoil dense in mineral-rich lava stone created by volcano. Last but not least, the lunch we took at the restaurant was the best, full of appetizers and pasta and cannoli. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends. Thank you Orazio!

Good to get out and walk around different parts of Mr Etna, hear about the flora, history, folklore and volcanic activity. Unfortunately the cave walk part of the tour was inaccessible and food and wine tastings were ok.
