One of the best experiences I’ve had in Italy! Rosa was an excellent teacher, very patient and with a very happy and positive energy. We were lucky to hear her sing too! The food we learned to make was two types of pasta and a dessert – both were delicious! Rosa welcomed us with a snack and drink upon arrival. We had very interesting conversations and drank exquisite wines. Overall, an amazing experience that I highly recommend when visiting Palermo!

Anntonella and her family were AMAZING hosts. They made us feel like family! They were very welcoming and answered all our questions as we wanted to learn lots about their culture. Food was excellent. Would highly recommend!!

We loved the experience of learning to cook Sicilian foods with Velia. Seeing her home, being in her kitchen & hearing about her family made us feel at home! The food was delicious & plentiful; our only regret was that it was too much to eat!

Velia was wonderful. We loved seeing her home and enjoyed the privilege of working in her kitchen. Really enjoyed talking with her and sharing pics of our grandkids. Food was amazing and really enjoyed the hands on aspect. So fun to immerse yourself into the culture. Would definitely recommend!!

What a pleasure to get hands on cooking experience with Velia! We made 2 absolutely delicious pasta dishes and tiramisu. Velia, is just so lovely and a warm person we felt we were cooking with family. We thoroughly enjoyed her cooking class and hospitality. We would highly recommend taking a cooking class with her you won’t regret it!

Perfect day! Alice was so kind and her home was lovely. We enjoyed getting to know about Sicilian culture. We had homegrown ingredients to make our food—everything was delicious. The recipes were easy to learn and Alice explained a variety of ways to make the food at home.

Spending the evening with Alessandra, Nicola and their children was a highlight of our entire trip. They welcomed us into their home – on Christmas day no less – and treated us to an unforgettable evening. The food was delicious, and learning to make pasta and tiramisu was very fun, but the highlight of this experience was being welcomed by tremendous hosts.

We loved our host and the food we cooked. 2 pastas and a tiramisu. Her home was beautiful and the lunch afterwards was just fantastic.

This was so far our favorite thing we have done on our tour of Italy. The host was gracious, generous, and so kind. We had the best time. I can strongly recommend all who are considering this to do it. They are a block from the dock if you are coming by cruise and it’s a 10 min walk. Be ready to get started and have a great experience.

My husband surprised me with this. I had no idea we would be cooking in someone’s home. What a treat. We spent the time with Alice and Francesco, a young couple who taught us how to make ravioli, cavatelli and tiramisu. Before we started, they treated us to their homemade jams. They were delicious. We also had olives, almonds, that were to die for, cheeses and wine. I learned some new tricks about dough and using a board to make the cavatelli. We enjoyed learning and talking to them about what it’s like to live in Sicily. It was so nice to be in their home. They treated us like family. I have not stopped talking about this since we left their lovely home. I highly recommend this! I will never forget it.

Our hosts were excellent, warm and welcoming. Their home is beautiful and very convenient. We did not need a taxis as they are centrally located near the Opera house. We felt like we were visiting family for a wonderful cooking and dining experience.

Loved this experience! Our hosts, Alice and Francesco graciously opened their home and shared their cooking talents with us along with regional information on Sicilian foods! The meal was delicious and I can’t wait to replicate it for friends! Highly recommend!

Rosa was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, she was a patient teacher and we made some of the best pasta we’ve eaten our whole trip! We had a lot of fun and this was one of our favourite experiences from our 4 week trip to Italy.

Gianpiero was an excellent host and teacher. We made fettuccine and ravioli, 2 types of sauces, and tiramisu. The recipes were simple and Gianpiero was so encouraging and made us feel like we could recreate them all at home. His home was very cozy and was the perfect ambiance for a relaxing cooking class. He taught us many things about Sicilian dishes and recommended things to try while in Palermo. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed his class and company.
