My evening of pasta making turned into an unexpected fantastic family affair! Rossella was an excellent teacher with her husband and daughter helping with interpreting. Since my Italian and Rossellas English were minimal. As a guest in her beautiful home, I was comfortable and treated like family.
We made three different pasta dishes, tagliatelle ravioli and a roast vegetable lasagna that was outstanding!
We all sat down together to enjoy the fruits of our labor and ended the meal with perfectly sweet almond cookie that Rossella had made. The entire experience was perfect.

Our time with Maria was our absolute favorite thing we did on our trip. She was so kind, welcoming and made us feel right at home. If you are deciding wether you should book with Maria, do it!! Not only was the pasta making so much fun but it also tasted amazing! I could not have asked for a better day in Messina! So much love for Maria ❤️

Maria, our host, was a blast to learn from. She is a lot of fun and has an upbeat personality. Her knowledge of traditional Italian pasta preparation was exceptional. We helped prepare 3 different types of pasta. We ate this pasta with 3 different and delicious sauces. We left her lovely home full and with great respect for all things Italian. My husband and I would highly recommend this excursion. It is well worth the cost.

Our pasta making class was excellent! We were greeted by our hosts when we arrived and enjoyed a typical Sicilian appetizer of mozzarella cheese and a dessert like ice cream. We then started the pasta making, which was a lot of fun. We enjoyed wine while we made the pasta and by the time we were done got pretty good at it. After the pasta, we helped make the ricotta cheese for the cannoli’s. The meal turned out amazing, best pasta I’ve ever had in Italy, would highly recommend this experience, especially if you have kids!!!
