Alberto and his team were amazing! Pick up from the hotel was on time. The hot air balloon was amazing, the breakfast in the cave was really relaxing since we were one of the few people there, and the pyramids tour was about an hour. Keep in mind that there is no guided tour, so I recommend reading up on the place before going! There’s a little shade in the temple area, so I recommend bringing hat and sunscreen. Some people had umbrellas which was a great idea too. Overall, we had a great time! Muchas gracias, Alberto!

This was a great experience with beautiful views. I was hesitant to try this but so glad that I did. The pilot made the flight up and down enjoyable. Beautiful views of the pyramids and ability to see other balloons up in the air. Definitely worth the drive out and the early wake up to experience this.

Erika was great communicator and very knowledgeable about the area. The Ballon ride was amazing, probably the best thing we did in Mexico the entire trip. Our pilot let us know how to brace ourselves before the flight took off and explained everything very well. Breakfast in the cave was great, wish we had another option but it was still good. Tour of Sun and Moon temple felt rushed, thought we had 2 hours but only ended up having 1 hour. Would definitely recommend to anyone to do this.

This was a wonderful experience that I’ll likely never do again–mostly because we had to wake up so early! We were picked up from our hotel in CDMX at 4:30 a.m.; the drive to Teotihuacan took 45-60 minutes. Once the rest of the group arrived and got settled, we watched the balloons get set up. The hot air balloon pilot gave great, clear instructions and the ride was smooth with stunning views.
After we landed and returned to the tour group’s office, we were shuttled to breakfast of chilaquiles in the lovely cave restaurant. We then learned about traditional Mexican handcrafts and liquors, and had time to poke around a shop. The final stop in Teotihuacan was the pyramids which were as amazing from the ground as the sky–definitely don’t skip out on it.
Everything was lovely except for the early starting hour (but I get it!) and our guide insisting that we didn’t pay for breakfast. Though I told her we booked this package in particular and showed her the reservation, she maintained that we owed 500MXN. I paid it but am still a little salty. If that hadn’t happened, this would have definitely been a 5-star experience.
