Voir le lever du soleil sur le désert suspendus dans cette nacelle, réchauffés par les jets de flamme de la Montgolfière, c’était splendide. Le vol a duré une heure, le pilote était trés sympathique et nous a donné beaucoup d’explications (en anglais).

obwohl der wetterbericht sehr schlecht war wurden wir im hotel in dubai abgeholt nebst 2 anderen teilnehmern um dann nach 90 minuten fahrt um zu kehren weil das ganze wegen des stürmischen wetters abgeblasen wurde.
also waren wir für nichts 3 stunden unterwegs und mussten zudem um 4:30h aufstehen.
dazu kommt noch dass ich mich selbst darum kümmern muss um die
602.-sfr zurück zu bekommen. habe berets 2 mails geschrieben doch noch keine antwort erhalten!

We booked this activity as a part of our honeymoon in Dubai and it was one of the most memorable experiences we had during the week. We were picked up promptly in the morning and driven to the sight where take off was. The staff was very hospitable and provided us with tea and snacks before the flight. Once we were in the air, the views were just breathtaking and the captain took the time to explain what we were seeing. I would suggest dressing warmly and in comfortable clothes. The breakfast afterwards was delicious and satisfying and the staff was yet again very friendly and welcoming as we interacted with the animals (camels, falcon and horses). I would absolutely recommend trying this experience out. My husband and I had never been on a hot air balloon ride before and we are grateful that our first experience was a very positive one.

(1) The excitement of watching the balloon filled by a tongue of fire. (2) The thrill of sunrise over eastern mountains. (3) The calm of drifting low over the desert. (4) The crap breakfast.
I’m sorry about (4), but feedback needs to be honest. After a wonderful balloon trip, the last thing I want to do is sit down and eat overcooked scrambled egg and drink cheap Nescafe coffee. And describing it as a ‘gourmet breakfast’ doesn’t help! I’d rather head back to my hotel and had a proper breakfast. And I’m afraid the presence of a couple of bored, recumbent camels and a man with a falcon does not somehow make me feel I’ve had a ‘desert experience’.

Amazing experience! The captain was very professional and experienced. Expected bumpy landing but it’s nothing like that at all. The only minus was that it was a full carriage which takes away the romantic aspect of balloon ride when you are stuffed like sardines.

Wonderful experience. Instructions are given before takeoff and before landing. Caption was very nice. Staff even took pictures and video in case you get worried you may loose your phone. One staff member even offered my son his coat when he perceived he was cold.

Being scared of heights I was a little worried but this was great. Very focused on safety but not to the point scare you. Our pilot was experienced the ground crew very professional. Being of mature age the crew were always there to offer any assistance , needed or not. We were lucky that the wind took us out over were the camel races were being held, the desert was always changing, wild gazelles running over the sand. The inflight falcon show a real treat, Ziggy was very impressive. Breakfast following the flight at the Bedouin camp was really good. So glad we did it and will be a lifelong memory.

Pilot Arturo was a great pilot, landing went smooth and he was very knowledgeable. All the staff on the ride was great making sure everybody had fun. The breakfast menu was meh, it was a little further away from the drop off point

The tour was lovely & much smoother than I expected. The views were breathtaking. The most memorable part of my experience was the Hot Air Ballon guide singing Happy birthday to me on the hot air balloon tour. I thought it was very sweet. Overall it was a great tour & id highly recommend.
