  1. Liberty_T

Andres was an excellent guide and we had a great time on this tour, definitely recommend as they take you to places a bit harder to reach by yourself

  2. Jennifer_S

Our tour guides were phenomenal!! Hector and Mario are very knowledgeable, kind, and charismatic. Abram, the driver, took every precaution to get us to our destination safe. The ride was very smooth. I recommend this tour with Amigos tours

It was a long day, but lots to see. Leonardo and driver Oscar guided us through the Mexico City traffic, informing us about the earthquakes, some history and current events. Day started at UNAM, then to Frida Kahlo’s home, a short walk around Coyoacan, had some fish tacos for lunch at Frederi’s Marisqueria and then a ride down the Xochimilco canals on a colourful trajinera with the floating Pulque and Mariachi boats. Cheers guys!

So grateful for getting the bundle. Well worth it. All three experiences were amazing. Frida Kahlo Museum is a must, Coyoacán the churros wow, and Xochimilco definitely one for the books. Thank you

  5. Kalyanee_V

Xochimilco was not worth as a boat ride in an ecological forest. It was more like a boat party with vendors pursuing you to buy stuff. I found it very chaotic. Frida kahlo home tour was nice but that could be done on our own. No need to spend the whole day with the tour

  6. Leticia_B

We had trouble finding the meet up stop and arrived there 8 minutes late. The tour left us. I sent a message asking if we could take a car to meet them. After all, it was a 10 hour tour. The response was rude and they said no and offered no alternative or refund.
I’m glad we missed the tour because we found a much smaller tour, a total of 5 people. It was cheaper, more personal and the guide was amazing. Oh and my credit card got me a full refund.
Do not book tours through this horrific company.

We had two tour guides on our bus, one for the customers who requested a Spanish-speaking guide and one for the customers who requested an English-speaking guide. We were all on the bus around 9:00 a.m. It was an awesome (long) day. Don’t forget to take a snack & your usb charger for your phone. Yes, the bus had outlets.

  8. Allen_L

Excellent time. Our tour guide Alicia was excellent. I would definitely recommend this tour for family and friends.

  9. Richard_S

Great tour to see many sites around Mexico. The tour guide was funny and knowledgeable and there was exactly the right amount of time at each stop (neither too much nor not enough time).

Enjoyed the Frida Kahlo Museum as well as the trajinera. Unfortunately, some fellow guests on the boat didn’t understand these are party boats and actually made rude comments towards my son and another kid for showing their excitement while on the boat. Notably, none of them purchased snacks or drinks through the duration of the boat ride. They must’ve thought this was some sort of experience to quietly gawk at the locals. I noticed none of them were on the bus home; hope they didn’t get left behind ;)!
Otherwise, decent experience. Didn’t need to go to the University. That was kind of pointless with all the traffic

This was a fun tour. Alice has good energy and we spent enough time at each location. Great food stop and only recommend buying alcohol before the boats or buy a bottle.

The description did not match the experience we had. If you want to see Frida Kahlo museum, book on your own. Imagine the awkward situation, when most of the group you’re with goes to see the museum with pre-booked tickets, and you’re left on the curb with “sorry, your booking did not include this” even though it’s advertised as such (see title). They had extra tickets that were also all gone by the time roll-call got to our names. The museum staff told us the first available tickets were 5 days out. Overall, very disappointing due to this. Otherwise, it was a nice, full-day trip. The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable.

This was an awesome tour!! Our guide was very nice and patient. I like that the group was small. The bus was very comfortable and safer than taking an uber.

  14. Nicholas_M

A very competent and friendly guide who gave us all the information in both Spanish and English and kept us interested. As I was in my own I enjoyed meeting other people.

  15. PaulF_F

We thoroughly enjoyed this terrific and varied tour and thought it was a great value for the money! BUT the restaurant for lunch was extremely overpriced and truly inedible!! We are not fussy
and usually love any and all food but this was such a poor example and obviously a place just for bus tours…no ambience and for the price was ridiculous! The whole rest of the day was fantastic and we so appreciated Alicia’s very good English.

I have taken a few different tours with viator in Mexico ( Mexico city and cancun) and this was by far the least exciting one. I paid close around 120$ for 2 people.
    1. For starters they donot provide hotel pick up offered by other tours in the same price from my other experience. So you have to plan ahead of time to reach the meeting points between 8 and 9 am. Also add in the extra cost
    2. The English guide on that we had had terrible English that was barely legible. He would keep walking ahead and talking. This is fine if it was a small group. This tours has a lot of people. Other tour guides of this size will group people at points and would explain things
    3. We were taken to the first stop coyoacan market square early In the morning when majority of vendors amd shops are close. About an hour was spend him doing nothing with the guide speaking to us for about 2 3 mins. You have to sit around doing nothing since everything is closed
    3. Then it’s a walk yo Frieda kahlos house. The guide kept talking and walking ahead without evening considering the people in the line behind.
    4. It’s not a guided tour in Frieda kahlo, since he guides stay outside. So it’s as good as going there alone. You also pay extra 30 Mex per person for clicking pictures using your phone. No video
    5. We spend majority of the morning in that part. We are then taken through a rushed section outside the Olympic stadium and university of Mexico. Againt the guide almost talking to himself as he walks upfront
    6. They stop at xochimilco next at a restaurant. Now the challenge is if you are a vegeterian the restaurant then pick is sea food focused and pretty far from other locations. Very inconsiderate considering other tours I have been to
    7. Final stop is a 1 hr boat ride ( again something you can book yourself 500 mex per hour, NOT Person)
Overall I will give this trip a Strong pass, below average guide, poorly structured probably to save on fuel and parking, absolutely no guided experiences or historical enlightment
I will recommend hiring a uber and doing these pieces on your own and you will enjoy better and save more

Alex, one of our guides. She sang for us, and told us a lot about Frida Khalo. The lunch spot was just okay in my opinion.

  18. Cassia_B

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Mexico City. I was disappointed to find out that the Frida Kahlo museum was sold out so it was good to be able to go on this tour instead. As much as I enjoyed this museum, our whole family really loved the fun and colourful boat ride in Xochimilko. The people on the tour were warm and friendly and the tour guide was fantastic. Highly recommended.

  19. Wang_J

I think that it has good lunch and it provide a comfortable car to go to destination. I met friends in this trip

  20. Robbie_D

This was not the tour advertised. Frida Museum is closed on Mondays and didn’t know until arriving for the tour, even though it is listed in the title. Very confusing and disappointing. Instead, two stops were included that were not desirable – a random gift shop stop for an hour and an hour stop to the university. Complete waste of time for a tour that was wrongly advertised. Not to mention, you will spend most of the day on the bus, as traveling from place to place is almost 45 minutes each time. Lastly, once we stopped for lunch finally, the restaurant overcharged us for drinks. Had one basic margarita with a shot and was charged $20 USD! Overall, don’t waste your time with this tour.
