We loved the tour!! James was great!! Lots of interesting facts from our tour guide. We learned about many of the colleges around Oxford. James gave us tips for eating after the tour. Book or request James. He has sparkling eyes.

Tour guide was extremely interesting and informative. She told us the basics and a bit more (college rivals and so on) which is always a welcome.

Excellent tour with our guide Alice. We booked at the last minute, and it ended up just being our group. Alice was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging, and really helped bring the university and its history to life. Would Definitely recommend.

John was our guide and he was phenomenal. It felt like one of your friends being a tourguide and regaling stories from Oxford and of the famous alumni who attended the university previously. Definitely a must do while in Oxford.

Nothing. Trip was cancelled because the tour guide got COVID but they were unable to supply another guide. Missed everything.

Our Guide Iona from Summer hill college has been very helpful, generous with her explanations and very well prepared. We would recommend her any time.

Our walking tour with Jim was just a delight! It turned out to be a private tour (lovely). Jim struck the perfect balance between informing us about historical and architectural highlights and weaving in interesting facts about film locations and current happenings. All the while, he answered our specific questions and kept the pace moving. It was as thorough, as intuitive and as well paced a tour as we could have hoped for. I give Jim and this particular Oxford Alumni tour a five star rating.

Really enjoyed the walk with an actual student from Oxford! We were to not only able to experience the charm of the city but as an added bonus, received some interesting insight into a day in the life from a real Oxford student. Highly recommend!

I will give this tour an average rating. Too many people in our group (around 25). Oxford is full of tourists and crowded. Our tour guide is good but since we are a big group, you cant hear her from the back. Saddest part was our Christ Church entry was cancelled.

Rece was a positive, articulate and knowledgeable guide. The meeting place was in a central location in Oxford and the bright blue jacket he wore was helpful. Our group was approximately 10 people in size. The walking tour was so enjoyable. I would recommend it highly and the tour times were varied to fit many schedules.

Giving top marks for our guide Prashida (she was marvelous, well-knowledged, kind) and the phone agent who assisted me finding her (patient, worked hard on our behalf, didn’t give up when it seemed impossible).
However a few points of feedback I’d like addressed please:
A bit of false advertising~tour title states “Alumni,” but Prashida was a 1st year. It also said to find her via a royal blue outfit but she merely had a blue ball cap we didn’t know to look for so it jeopardized us finding her… we were stressed, nearly late as a result.
Says to meet up @ 11-12 Broad/“Shop of Secrets” but both these take you up at the corner nearly 20 yards from the gathering place… further frustrating our experience & causing us to panic & nearly miss it.
We arrived a few minutes early still but the listing also states a five minute waiting/grace period past-time… so on arrival I asked if I could use the toilet & returned still 2 mins prior to our booked time & everyone was gone even though I was told it was OK.
So we missed the first nearly half-hour of the tour & again went into a worser panic as we scrambled around lost unable to find the group.
It was deeply upsetting & my dad’s older so he can’t easily move quick.
All this added together, I’d please like half the cost or more if you feel empathetic to our troubles & the faulty advertising. Please let me know, thank you.

Our tour guide, Guy, was charming and enthusiastic. It was a fun and informative walk through the colleges, with the inside perspectives that come from a local resident and former student. Thank you!

    Student Tour of Oxford:
It was almost a private tour with an amazing doctoral student working on AI: Artificial Intelligence. Oxford is extensive in area and we felt we got a feel and appreciation of student life and academic rigor. When time was”up” our enthusiastic guide asked if he could just continue a little longer. Highly recommend.
