Getting to go inside Pembroke College, was very nice to see how it works.
Going around the city, all the places students like to be, I think for my daughter was a great experience.

The trip included visiting King’s College in Cambridge. I paid the extra £4 for four of us. But the BBC were filming a carol service, (I think), and their outside broadcast trucks were parked outside. As soon as the guide met us she told us we were not going into King’s because of the filming. Two of our party were extremely disappointed and left.
We should have been told beforehand that King’s was closed. It’s not as though it would been a surprise to your organisation…the BBC trucks had been there 3 days and Kings would have the event firmly in their diary. I would have expected you to check and let us know we could not go into King’s beforehand….not on the day!
    Very poor service.
I expect a refund of the cost of the King’s entry.

The insights into college life that Tommy Roberts gave plus the interesting history and his very helpful manner

Had our tour with Gabriel and he was excellent! Answered every question, made sure the group was together and taking proper safety precautions, and was very personable. Happy we booked but even happier that Gabriel was our guide! Will recommend to friends traveling to Cambridge.

  5. Calum_G

Great tour with Gabriel. Intelligent, charming, charismatic young chap. Great info and day out. We’ll organised and exactly what we wanted from the tour

  6. Maggie_L

Emma was such an excellent tour guide. She is knowledgeable, friendly and conveyed the information about the colleges clearly and well. She made the tour extremely enjoyable.

  7. Sarah_L

Emma was great – very knowledgeable and really friendly. Great tour of the main sights. Highly recommended!

  8. Kimberly_M

Thank you for the overview tour of the university and some of its most prestigious colleges. We appreciated all of the information for our teenagers.

  9. Jennifer_C

Had a wonderful, fun and informative tour with Francesco. Learned a lot about the history of Cambridge and its many colleges and picked the perfect day for it. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Justin was an excellent tour guide and despite the inclement weather we really enjoyed the tour of Cambridge.

  11. Gilles_D

The tour was really good! The tour guides are either students or alumni’s. This allows you to ask more specific questions around life on campus.

  12. Todd_M

Our guide was wonderful. Very informative and fun. Our whole family enjoyed the experience – thank you!

  13. Cathrine_S

We had a delightful tour of the University led by Justin Leveque, a current student from France. The tour was full of facts and fun and we were very happy both to have signed up and to have drawn this particular guide!

  14. Mary_R

It gave us a chance to understand the layout of where the colleges are. The guide was friendly, but not enough information and repeatedly saying “that’s it no more interesting things” was good to ask her questions.

  15. James_C

I really enjoyed this tour. The student was knowledgeable and kept a good balance between telling us the wonderful history of Cambridge while also explaining the modern experience of students life here. I highly recommend it!

  16. Cecilia_J

Knowledgeable guide, Interactive tour, stories and places to remember, great experience! Definitely recommend

  17. monique_n

Great information on history of the universities and its ‘ celebrities’ by the guide Francesco. Specifically the eagle cafe, Kings college and the walk through the backs were impressive for us

  18. Tracey_L

Great walking tour, Francesco was very knowledgeable and we discovered parts of Cambridge that we hadn’t seen before, even though we have visited a few times. We booked a group tour but there was only the two of us who turned up for tour, so was more like a private tour. It is worthwhile doing the tour as even though you think you know the area, you will still learn something new.

  19. Ronit_S

Great tour with Sum our guide. Perfect for learning more details from the actual students. Enjoyed a lot.
