You have to book this actvity online. Despite the price shown at the museum itself, because of the online booking, it’*s more than double the price (including “services”). If you don’t book in advance, you won’t get in…it’s totally sold out, and once you get inside everything is a crush. Although it seems to be a must-do activity, because of the crush I was through in an hour….for 27€, absolutely not worth it!

This was not a tour but just tickets emailed. When we asked where to meet, they did not respond and no one showed up. We were able to see the museum, which is amazing, on our own, but the tickets were more expensive than they would have been if we could have bought them directly from the museum.

While this was partially my fault, as I agreed to 30december via text, my Viator app and alerts popped up nonstop for 31-dec, which was when we went to the museum at our assigned time of 10. We were told by the line attendant that they were sold out and to contact our tour provider which we did, at what point I was reminded of a text exchange re:30-dec. This was my fault, but I wish the staff could have been more accommodating and tjay the Viator app/alerts would have been correct. We did not get to tour this museum and lost the money that we paid.

Great museum! I originally purchased 8 tickets and then needed one more for the same day/time. I purchased them all for 1pm thinking that was the time I’d be let in, but when got to the museum I noticed 8 tickets had the time for 1:45pm and the other one for 1:15. Luckily the employees let us all go in together (they let you as long as you go in at the latest time on the tickets), but it was misleading to buy them here on Viator for 1pm but get tickets for a time within the 1pm time frame. I do however recommended buying them here. You can absolutely NOT purchase tickets AT the museum. These were legit and had no other issue other than the one noted above!

The Frida Kahlo Museum is very interesting – definitely go. BUT DO NOT GO WITH VIATOR!! They charged my husband and me US $59 for tix purchased in advance. When we got to the museum we were informed that two “senior” tix cost US $13. Viator refused to refund me.

A great museum about a great person and it was so great to have it all booked in with Viator. Other people kept showing up and being turned away in shock. So glad!

Unfortunately we could not go because we didn’t have enough time after landing and checking into our hotel… we didn’t realize how far it was.
We purchased tickets again from another group that was more flexible for another day since there is not refund offered from this tour group.

I wanted to see her paintings! The house was interesting, but I was disappointed to see only a couple of her works.

A must do when coming to Mexico City. The museum is very well laid out and the information provided paints a very clear picture of how she lived and the interesting points of her life.
Roselea_N –
The exhibition showcased classic work by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.
The house, furniture and garden space felt authentic.
Titles were in both Spanish and English.

I couldn’t find where to order tickets on the Frida Kahlo museum, so I ordered them here. I wasn’t sure if there would be a tour guide or not – turns out not the case. Getting the tickets (e.g. downloading them) was not a challenge. Just not sure why they were not emailed to me (they were sent as a text)

The life story of the painter presented in the museum is most memorable. It reads like a history lesson. Eventhough I know a little about the art and her
