This tour is definitely a bucket list experience. I was in absolute awe to be in the Daintree Rainforest, cruising the Daintree river and seeing wild crocs. Going to Cape Tribulation was amazing. Seeing 2 world heritage areas side by side, I had to pinch myself that I was actually there. A day that I will never forget. I was lucky enough to see Crocs on the banks of the Daintree river and Cassowarry chicks in the forest. Wow!!! And a big THANK YOU to Discovery Tours for a fantastic day. Our guide Mario was a wealth of knowledge. He was professional, friendly and kind. I give him 5 🌟. A simply amazing day.😁🐊💞💜🐊

Jim (guide/driver) was an absolute trip. Incredibly humorous plus lots of facts and knowledge. Tour is a on-the-clock to fit everything in, a compromise but worth it vs 2 days. Excellent – really excellent – lunch. AM coffee and PM ice cream breaks nicely timed. Walking is really easy and no significant distance. If you need to cover a lot in a little time then I would recommend.

This is the best organised tour we did in Cairns. Pick up on time with no dramas. Sufficient time to explore everything in the itinerary. Small group which is perfect. We travelled with 2 kids and it was not too much for them.
Our tour guide (Brett) is professional, knowledgeable and very entertaining. The lunch at the Daintree Teahouse was amazing, definitely a highlight. Food was super delicious and we they spoke about tropical fruits. This is a must if you are in Cairns.

The whole drive was stunning with amazing vistas and commentary along the way.
The most amazing experience was to see a few crocodiles when we went out in a boat. It was incredible to see them up close and in the wild.
It was a gorgeous sunny day, and I would go again in a heartbeat.

This was an excellent tour. Although 12 hours long, our guide Jim kept the day interesting, fun, and educational. All of the tour stops were well organized and we stopped and had the best muffins ever at Mossman Gorge with tea and coffee. For lunch an incredible place with seating outdoors surrounded by rainforest. There were several main courses offered including kangaroo which my adventurous husband tried and loved. We also had a sampling of exotic fruits and a wonderful informative lesson on each of them. The crocodile river cruise did not disappoint as we saw three crocs one of which was a baby. The guide for the cruise was exceptional as well and educated us on the creatures and conservation efforts. Our last stop was the Daintree Ice Cream Factory and we had the chance to try ice creams made from local fruits and great coffee too. I can’t say enough good things about our tour guide Jim. Although he has been doing this job for 11 years his enthusiasm for all of the things many would take for granted after that many years was extraordinary from the plants, food, animals, and scenery!!!

Great day trip! The itinerary is a LOT to see/do in one day, but definitely worth it:) Or guide Michelle kept it moving all day without ever feeling rushed or chaotic. She is a wealth of knowledge on all things flora, fauna, historical and cultural. I learned a ton. Everything we were doing was clearly communicated as the day went on and she regularly checked in on everyone to make sure we were doing alright. Having a small group made such a busy day feel more manageable and Michelle knew all of our names by the second stop. Seeing how you are limited in what you learn based on what the guide shares, I was thrilled with how passionate and knowledgeable Michelle was. That she was also fun didn’t hurt either. Getting a group of 15 strangers from all over the world to have a bus singalong at hour 11 of the day says a lot about how much we all enjoyed the tour:) Highly recommend!
