We loved this tour! The guide is a true foodie and helped us as first time visitors understand, appreciate, and enjoy the the courses which are part of the Italian culture! It was a fabulous evening that we will enjoy the memories of for years to come!

Our guide was a bubbly girl from Romania who was very energetic and full of life as she explained where the different foods came from.

Our guide Elena was excellent, great personality and entertained our diverse group from elementary school age to empty nesters. Food and wine were excellent at every stop and all the stops showed wonderful hospitality to the group. Highly recommend this tour – excellent value for the money and gives a chance to explore some areas off the beaten path.

Celeste was magnificent! Funny, engaging filled with historical facts and the food was delicious. I don’t eat meat and the options that were given to me were outstanding.

Such a great night, and the perfect ‘foodie’ start to our four nights in Rome. Trastevere is a vibrant, and buzzing neighbourhood, and home to some of the best food we’ve had in Rome. Lu was an excellent and passionate guide, with great insights about local food, history and culture.

Our guide Tatyana was awesome! She was energetic, knowledgable and had a great plan for the night. I was skeptical going in. My wife and 25 year old daughter said this was the best tour we did on our 16 day trip.

Our tour guide Carsen did an amazing job. He explained everything about what we were eating and the history behind it. The food was terrific and the staff at all the restaurants were friendly. I would highly recommend this tour.

The tour guide (Alania) was the best so much history and energy. All the spots were unreal it gave a good spread of every style of food. I loved the Double Cream with Anchovie pizza pocket at Trappazino and the 30 yr aged balsamic was an experience.

This is an experience you don’t want to miss! It’s not a historical tour, but you walk around a bit and hear a few cute stories about the area— but the 4 places you visit for food are amazing! I can’t stress that enough. Tatayana was our guide and learned all 16 of our names. The food, the wine, the stories about all of it… just come prepared to eat A LOT. It’s our anniversary and the pizza course came to us in the shape of a heart. Just go! 😊

We had such a fantastic time during the food tour! Definitely did not expect the amount of food that we ate so definitely go hungry! These were not little bite or samples of food, they were full on meals and none of them disappointed. There were a few folks on the tour that had dietary restrictions and they were well taken care of from all the places we visited. The earlier tour might have been better so that we could have walked off the food that we ate but I would do it again. The food and wine were fantastic and we got to meet other travelers as well. We got to see a little of Trastevere in the time that walked and would definitely be a place we would like to visit again.

I travel often for business and frequently will do food tours. Find them a great way to learn about the local culture and break up my work day. This was one of the best have taken. Food was excellent and the tour guide made the tour fantastic. Great experience

Highly recommend! Tatiana was amazing, and so was the food and wine! So glad we did this. Delicious and informative.

Extremely overpriced for what you get & receive. I paid 400+ for 3 people. Feel ripped off and we went on 10+ tours during our 2 weeks in Italy. First you meet in a crowded rundown part of town near a square. The tour starts right where it begins with a long history lesson on the street. I’d rather be walking & sightseeing than wasting this time standing. It happens a lot so you know. You then walk in a small restaurant where you have a limited menu to order from. Food was ok. Again it’s a food tour, seemed more about a wine lesson. I would much rather have a variety of samples to try out. Again didn’t feel like a food tour. You only walk/go to 3 places so you know. Second place welcomes u to a small cheese plate with wine. You literally get 1 tiny piece per cheese, same with meat products which you share with group. Beyond cheap and upsetting. Wine seemed unlimited. Third place is dinner- again not much to choose from but the meal was very good. You walk through the town for no more than 15 minutes to sightsee. Tour guide spends alot of time talking. She was wonderful and probably was the best part of the tour, but clearly business was strategic enough to provide crappy return on investment through products. Highly not recommended!!!! The gelato was good too. Suggestions- Go walk yourself – you don’t need this tour. Trust me. You can do so much more on your own.
