Wonderful overall experience with very helpful and professional service and supervision throughout. Very enjoyable and fun way to learn to make amazing pizza, which was so delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who likes pizza and want to do something different and fun in Rome.

We had great fun making pizza and the eating it afterwards. Definitely a must when in Rome! The glass of wine and limoncello went down well too! Lovely people and very helpful.

  4. Heather_H

It was a great experience and super fun!! If we come back I would like to do the other classes they provide

100% recommend!!! Hassan was an excellent teacher with so much information & knowledge to share with us! It was such a fun, practical activity which made our stay in Rome that extra bit special! Unfortunately, the restaurant staff weren’t all that pleasant. The cooking classes & restaurant are separate businesses.

  6. Bindi_L

Our family had a wonderful time, learnt heaps about pizza making and enjoyed the tasty pizza’s we made ourselves. We highly recommend this experience to anyone and hope you have Hassan as your teacher, he was a fabulous teacher/host.

This was a great thing to do whilst in Rone .
The venue was really nice with gorgeous drinks served at the bar .
We had a small group and the chef was able to speak with all of us, guide and congratulate us all !!
Wow we actually made pizza !!
We ate our creations had bruschetta and wine too. Really value for money.

It was one of the best things I have done in Rome. So much fun and I learned so much. The chef Claudia was amazing .

I think our teacher’s name was Claudio — we loved his personality and he led a fun class! I wish the venue was a little bigger because we had to split up when we made the pizzas due to a lack of space to accommodate the larger group of us. It took a while and we didn’t really get to have dinner with everyone else since were the last to cook. Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with the instructor, but the venue in which the class was held. The pizza was delicious, though! Thanks for a great dinner!

The staff was extremely friendly and informative. Small groups made it more intimate. 3-hour duration and is worth the money.

Claudio was fantastic! I have been making pizza for many decades, had a brick pizza oven, now have an Ooni (we moved), and Claudio gave me many extra tips to work on for both Roma-style pizzas and others. His instruction was simple but explicit and I learned a lot. He also provided tips on specific ingredients, brands of Tipo 00 flour, and more. Well done! I highly recommend this class.

Claudio really is a great teacher, perhaps even an entertainer. The whole experience was wonderful even though this course is geared towards beginners 🙂

Wonderful cooking class. I thought I knew how to make pizza. I didn’t know anything. This was fun and educational. Would do again!!!

  15. Joy_K

Claudio was so funny and engaging! I’ve taken 3 pizza classes in Italy and learned the most from him!

Tour was cancelled last minute the day of (Apr 30th) saying that the town (Naples) had closed the restaurants for a football match. Not quite sure how they didn’t know this days in advance. We had rearranged our plans to make it to the tour as they already had to cancel/reschedule it last minute from Rome because the restaurant was no longer available for the class. Super disappointed as my children were looking forward to this for months and it wasn’t possible to book something else the day of.

Claudio was awesome!! We had such a great time learning from him. Super kind and funny and very clearly a pro!

Located close to Piazza Navona, this place has a nice set up, great instructors and lots of cooking options to choose from! Don’t pass them up.

    Amazing experience!!
Super family friendly and the pizza was delicious – even if I say so myself 🙂

  20. Michael_M

Chef Claudio at Gusto Pizza e Cucina was the best. On time, clean, organized and a lot of fun. Learned a little something too!!
    Highly recommend for everyone.

What can I say. This was a fun learning experiance with rewards at the end. Eating the pizza you just made with new friends you just met. Chef Gui is a master of pizza and explains and shows in detail what needs to be done. One of the highlights of our trip to Rome.
