driver was late for about an hour and we were extremely upset by the time he arrived so he kept quiet the whole way
tea plantation was wonderful and different locations we went to but were very disappointed as by the time we reached the strawberry farm we only had 15 min to look around and all the strawberries were gone so couldn’t even do what was mentioned in the itinerary and they never apologized for their mistake

It was a three hour drive by private car to get there. The last hour is on a very very winding road up the mountain. The driver was amazing and took the road like a pro — my wife not so much. She got car sick on the way. When we finally arrived in the Highlands it was well worth the effort. The tea plantation was very interesting to see. You were able to walk thru the factory to see how the tea was processed. The driver/guide made several interesting stops on the way back at a butterfly museum and at a antique museum — both of which were very interesting. Only negative was the car smelled of cigarette smoke.

Beautiful places, I definitely recommend to visit. But if you can don’t take this tour. Is around 3-4 hours drive from KL on mountain roads. Our driver was rushing and drive wasn’t comfortable and in my opinion not safe. He was also rushing back. So at the end 11 hours tour – 7 hours in the car, 1 hour for lunch, not much time to expirience highland.

Shahrin was our guide and he was 5 stars. It was a Saturday and he knew traffic would get bad. He got us to the top of the mountain early without traffic and worked our way down. There was a backup of nearly 5 km going up as we were going down. Views were spectacular. Wonderful strawberries and tea. His English was good and easy to understand. He went out of is way to find us interesting fruit and vegetables to try. Excellent local lunch. Had a great 5 star day with Shahrin

The driver was cool but I didn’t get the point why he decided to skip some spots. So we didnt visit any bee farm, we didnt visit strawberry farm and didnt take a tour in Tea centre with a guide.

Cameron Highlands were a beautiful addition to my trip! I wasnt sure how I could get there on my own, until I found this tour. Everything is really eell planned out, from start to finish, and I didnt have to worry about a thing. Khairy made my trip really enjoyable, and helped me take lots of cool photos in the tea plantations! He stopped wherever I asked him to and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and happy! It was a long drive to and fro, but it was never a dull moment! We even went to the strawberry farm, and the bee farm, and saw some really cool sunflowers. We also went up to this really cool cafe, which had amazing views! Highly recommend this trip!

The locations we went to were nice, however the driver was awful. He sped, no seatbelt, talked on the phone on loudspeaker to others, tried to get us to book him for other trips, argued with his wife on the phone on loudspeaker, stopped for his own dinner for 30 minutes, had his brother tail us for the entire trip back, routinely smoked and the car smelt of cigarettes, didn’t take the toll, and got us back to our hotel 2 hours late. He lied about facts on the trip (such as saying the Cameron Highlands are named that because you “come around the high lands”. Did not feel safe in the car. Do not recommend at all.

Having read many of the reviews on Viator for this trip most reflect our experience on the day. It is a long day with lots of time in the car with the main event a visit to the BOH plantation. Our driver and guide on the day was Roy who was very attentive, courteous and a very safe driver.

Purtroppo essendo un giorno festivo (domenica) cè stato molto traffico. Per questo motivo delle 6 fermate ne abbiamo saltate 3 per nostra decisione. Autista competente e molto gentile! Esperienza unica con gli aborigini. Consigliato ma in settimana!

It was a long drive, however worth visiting. The driver Raja was excellent guide and made our trip memorable. If someone suffers motion sikcness it is better to take a pill to prevent it. Monday is not the best day to go, some parts are closed. Malaysia is beautiful and tea plantations are highlights of the trip.

We were expecting a proper guided tour and we’ve received an old beaten up car with a driver.
21st of Apr was the last day of Ramadan, thus the drama and the rush started from the very first hour.
Thw car was the worst for such an activity which implies spending roughly 8 hours on the road – not clean, suspensions extremely hard, too old to make it in a take over or over 100km/h.
No itinerary passed to the driver, no homework done before – the rose gardens were closed, the waterfall and its surrounding is just too small to accommodate the number of cars / ppl as it is on the side of the 2 lanes road.
The only enjoyable moment was the tea plantation stroll under the warm rain.
A tour which was supposed to last 12 hours and have 17 attractions ( many of those are really not worthy the time spent ), finished in less than 10, out of which 7 were spent in the car.
A lot of drama and panic due to “traffic” which was inexistent.
For sure there are better options out there when it comes to this activity.
