Overall a good value for money trip, the views at the tea plantation were beautiful, the strawberry/bee farm and butterfly sanctuary were decent but nothing special. The waterfall and local market were nice too so good value for money all things considered. May be more worth it with the long drive from KL to be part of an extended tour to Taman Negara or to stay overnight rather than a day trip. I wasn’t a big fan of the guide bringing his personal politics into the tour though, especially him laughing and making fun of killing people due to the death penalty and trying to get the whole bus to agree with his political ideologies regarding economies and ecology.

A great trip that started off with Mr Avalee picking us up from our hotel before driving to Cameron Highlands. Mr Avalee told us about the history of Malaysia on the way, as well as his own life story which was very interesting!
Along the way to the highlands we stopped at a waterfall to take some photos, as well as a service station for a quick breakfast. The BOH tea plantation was beautiful and definitely the best part of this trip! We were able to try some tea and buy some too. Sadly, due to COVID, the tea factory was closed to the public so we were unable to witness any tea production. Such a shame – we wish we had known this earlier!
On the way back down we visited a bee farm, butterfly farm, strawberry farm and a local market before finishing with a very nice lunch!
Overall, we really enjoyed our day with Mr Avalee but just wish the tea factory was open for us to witness the tea production as this is what we were looking forward to!

Fabulous. The highlight of the trip is the tea plantation, but the strawberry pickup and the lunch at the gorgeous golf course resort were great as well. The driver did a great safe job, while the guide staged the trip fantastically. 12 hrs sharp and we were back at the hotel.
