Tour guide great, learnt a lot about Malaysia during the drive. Pick up was easy. The Selangor Pewter factory tour was interesting as was learning how east coast Batik is made. Batu Caves were fascinating. The stairs are not for the faint hearted. The heat can have a impact on how comfortable it is to climb. Need to watch out for the monkeys as they are not shy of people and are happy to steal food right out of your hands if they see an opportunity.
Carolyn –
Good trip with just 4 people so special attention from Henri Batu caves were a bit tacky but ticked that box. All 3 workshops were interesting with no pressure to buy. Recommended.
David –
Very well priced little tour, ticked all the boxes, driver was informative and friendly. The Batu caves were great, the monkeys weren’t as cheeky as we were warned. The trips to the other locations were fascinating – especially the pewter factory. Would highly recommend for a great half day trip – definitely the morning departure to avoid the heat of the day.
Joanne_N –
Raz our driver did excellent job. He picked us up from the hotel. During the trip he gave a information on KL and Malaysia. He was very professional. The Selangor Pewter tour was excellent and Raz went out of his way to stop at the Chocolate factory on the way back to the hotel.
Auldrick_B –
An overall good experience. The driver confirmed the pickup time and location hours before, he was on time for the pickup, very courteous, accommodating and friendly, and the bus was clean with comfortable seats. The caves were a nice visit, and the Royal Selangor tour turned out to be a great stop, even though we knew very little about it before. A well spent afternoon!
deliaalvarez –
Very easy to book.
The guide is very proficient and we got a lot of information about Malasya and the place we visited.
Paul_P –
overall it was ok, the driver could have been more informative. We also had an issue with the driver, the company was very professional about it.
Natalie_M –
My guide / driver was fabulous. Spoke English very well. Lovely comfortable air conditioned van. Lots of local sites and local cultural area with detailed history from the driver. Saw some of the old city on the way back and able to get out for some photos. Steps steep at the caves but lots of places to stop, only about 10 minutes walking slowly up.
Heidi_J –
The Buddha and the colourfull steps.
Nice driver and a lot og interesting information about the town.
Iwan_B –
We did the tour together with another couple, so there was plenty of space in the van for all of us! The tour through the pewter manufacture process was well organized and they’re not intrusive to buy anything at the end. However, the highlight of the tour for us were the Batu Caves. You get dropped of at the entrance and can use the time for your own.
Josimeire_G –
It as basically drive to the cave. The stop at the store to see the painting was just to say that has something else more, in my opinion.
Janine_M –
Got up extra early to be told the driver would be an hour and a half later than scheduled 😳Batu caves had litter everywhere along the sides on the way up and on the actual stairs which made it dangerous as it had been raining. The batik factory was very interesting as was the pewter factory. Our driver was a nice man Shame about the state of the car inside and out bit of a wreck with stained seats😬
Parnel_A –
We had such a wonderful time, if you come to Malaysia, you must go to the Batu Caves. Our tour guide was Roy and he was very nice!
stephen_h –
Our driver guide was excellent. He was knowledgable, friendly, and obliging. He clearly earned a five star rating.
Selangor Pewter tour and shop was interesting, as was the batik work and display.
The Caves were a special place and the colour and natural surroundings were beatiful , but it would be so much more enjoyable if the extensive litter was cleaned up. This is the reason for the 4 star rating overall.

At 75 those steps had to be taken on… I won. What a magical experience this tour of the Batu Caves was. The highlight for me was Royal Selangor Pewter factory tour. I’ve long been a fan of their work and watching their precision and skills tells me why the product is so good
Our tour guide was excellent and spoke perfect English and commented throughout the ride to the various locations. Well worth the money!!!
Stephanie_S –
We loved this tour. We were picked up from a hotel nearby to where we were staying and our guide Ben Su was prompt and had very good English. The Royal Selangor factory was fascinating, especially the demonstrations done by the workers. We arrived at the Batu Caves and had plenty of time to explore them, going in the morning meant that it wasn’t as busy as it probably could have been which we liked. Our final stop was at the Batik Factory where we got to see local artists painting beautiful pieces right in front of us and we even got to try it out ourselves. We learnt a lot about Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur from our tour guide throughout the morning and would highly recommend this tour.

The steps to climb up! I thought I couldn’t make it!Amazing cave !
Incredible view, a must see excursion 👍

Nenad_k –
Great day with a great driver.
Thank you for your service.
We had a fun time experiencing our first tour in a new country.
Driver was easy to get along with and was great.
Lisa_N –
Our guide / driver was fantastic. We visited at festival time so it was a busy but fabulous experience
Timur_M –
Caves were great. Beautiful statue and fun climbing the stairs. Be careful with the monkeys , they might steal your food. Other 2 stops are more of a commerce, they show you how things made and then trying to sell you them. If I had a choice I would just go to the caves. So taking a regular taxi/grab just to the caves would be ideal plus cheaper for sure too. P.s. driver was a nice man.
Lars_S –
Caves were great but the other two stop – just to push you into expensive shopping with someone following you all the time pushing you for deals, like a market.
Russell_T –
It could have been nice but it was very dirty and run down. The steps to the top were doable and it’s worth the trouble
Adnane_B –
The visit was free non guided. We had only the ride from point A to point B.
The only guided visit was at the museum. The Batur Caves were not guided, not even a short explanation of the place.
But the driver was a good man.
Ewa_W –
The Batu Cave was an excellent experience. Some of the Malesian cultures to know and explore. The driver was brilliant.
Jamuna_B –
Batu caves was awesome experience! It was too hot and I didn’t really care for the batik or pewter experience.
Yue_Y –
Overall it was a fun and relaxing experience and our driver is very kind and helpful. I would recommend this your to anyone who visits Malaysia for the first time
metaxasioannis –
It was more a taxi service. In addition they took me to places not of interest but to promote and buy local goods.
cris_d –
climbing the 200 plus steps to the top. it was exhilirating to be there after a slow but
sure way for elderly people.
Sandy_G –
Great tour our driver Fauzi was knowledgeable about all things Malaysia had a cheeky sense of humour and was friendly and helpful,
The Batu caves is an interesting place, but unfortunately quite dirty, 272 steps up, which you could totally take at your leisure.
We then went to Batik shop and got taught how they make then soft sell, which we did because lovely things.
We then went to see Pewter factory great guide really interesting and again soft sell but not pushy at all.
All in all a lovely easy tour.
