This little tour gives you plenty of time to explore the highlights of George Town. You walk at your own pace. Our guide Mr Ong was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. He even showed us an extra sight not on the itinerary. Only wish the tour included visiting Fort Cornwallis.

Definitely worth doing. We are went with 2 adult children and we all found it entertaining. The tour guide Ronnie was brilliant, full of local knowledge. He realised what we liked and tailored information and the tour to our specifics. Best tour so far and very comfortable car.

Booked Viator half day tour for a quick overview of Penang Island and the Georgetown area. My wife and I were rewarded with Aldrin. He was very good and letting us know that he was on his way and we met a bit earlier since we were ready to go.
He has a great professional demeanor and an even more likeable personality. Without recapping every single visit, there were the requisite highlights of temples, mosques and a nice botanical garden (highlighted by mischevious monkeys), we saw a good portion of the areas around Georgetown.
Little India, Chinatown, malls and family jettys stuck out. Aldrin was very knowledgeable about all sites and their historical perspectives. A wealth of information as we peppered him with questions on food, customs and how Penang has evolved over time. As a local born and raised Penang person, his insight is very interesting to visitors like us.
He brought us to the key murals that were fun and photographic. Ended with a nice shared meal where I could not believe that we ordered up a storm of local pork broth soup bowls along and drinks at a very cool place called Hong Kei. Price for the three of us was less than $14 USD…unbelievable…
Highly recommend asking for Aldrin as this tour guide who will definitely feel that you’ve met a person who cares about his customers and goes out his way to take on your requests.
    Thanks Aldrin!!!

This wasn’t a tour, it was a car service. There was no Malaysian licensed guide with us and we were just driven from place to place. The last stop at a coffee shop/batik store was for the driver’s benefit. Not worth the price.
