Our guide Max showed us around Georgetown and methodically explained the different types of street food in a fun way! We learned a lot about Penang history on the tour. Great overall experience!

  2. Kylie_L

We loved all the local information the we were told. We ate way too much that we couldn’t move lol. Loved going to places that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Would definitely recommend to others to do this tour.

  3. Linda_M

This was a great way to explore Georgetown and learn about the food, culture and history. Chen brought us to many popular and authentic restaurants to try a wide variety of dishes. He is very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting stories, facts and information. We also spent some time admiring and learning about the street art and Taoism as we went from one restaurant to the next. It was a really enjoyable and informative morning.

Great food tour with some history added to it. James is a great tour guide who is helpful and lovely.

  5. Stephanie_B

The tour was a wonderful combination of food, culture, and history. We made the mistake of eating a light breakfast before – come hungry! Within the first 10 minutes we already had delicious appetizers and noodles in front of us. All of the food was delicious. Highly recommend it to anyone!

  6. Lucy_N

We really enjoyed our experience with King! It was great trying all the tasty food but you also on top of that you learn so much about the city and the history! You will be absolutely stuffed at the end of the experience because of the variety and amount of foods you get to try! Definitely worth it!

  7. Pamela_H

Great morning tasting Pemang street food. King was a fantastic guide who sent us a list of all of the foods we had enjoyed.

  8. Carla_P

Mr. King has great stories and curiosities to share about Penang history and food origine.
Perhaps, food portions could have been smaller to give us the opportunity to experience more dishes once there are so many different plates we would have like to have had a bite.
