My family and I had a fabulous evening, not only eating Penang’s delicious street food but learning about its rich culture and fascinating history. Max aka King Bee, was our guide who equiped us with a wealth of knowledge, whilst also keeping the tour entertaining and fun. I would 100% recommend Max for your next tour.

This was an excellent, fun tour with Beatrice, a knowledgeable and engaging guide. The itinerary covered cultural and historical sites as well as some well-selected dishes. Recommended for history buffs as well as foodies. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Had a great one-on-one tour with King. Learned a ton of history about Penang and Taoist and Buddhist religious practices during the walking tour. Since I had done a different food tour the day prior he made sure we didn’t repeat any of the same dishes. Highly recommended!

Our evening food tour with King included so much more than food! As we walked through the neighborhoods, he pointed out key areas and took us in to a temple to explain customs and symbolism. All the food was delicious and we got to try a wide variety. Definitely recommend!

James is the best guide that we’ve had on our entire month-long trip. He’s very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. The food at every stop was amazing. We were stuffed by the end of the trip. Doing this tour really made us step out of our comfort zones and try new things.

The evening walking food tour with James is a must do. This is a great opportunity to eat like a local! We were a group of 4 which is a perfect size for walking and eating, and viewing the sights of George Town, Penang. James is very knowledgeable about all the foods we tried, where to get them, and how they are made. And he provides wonderful anecdotes and stories to give an understanding of the local and historical context of George Town. Many thanks, James for a fab evening!
