Our tour guide had a lot of information about local attractions, and was very friendly. I was very sick during the trip, and he helped find food and medicine, even pushed the date back one day to accommodate.

Our local guide Mr. Lam was very attentive and provided us with a very memorable day in Penang. He went out of his way to make our trip one of the best ever. He even brought his drone to take our pics! Our trip was only for 8 hours but he provided us with a very informative guide service lasting almost 12 hours.
We highly recommend this tour with Mr Lam.

Overall quite pleased. The guide, Tiger, picked us up at the airport with a sign. He took us by car to a Buddhist temple with venomous snakes. Then to the top of Penang hill by Funicular, to have beautiful city views and award winning fried noodles. After that to another temple with the worlds largest bronze goddess statue. He took us around George Town to see the Clan Jetties, an old mosque, street art, antiques Chinese mansions etc. Then dropped us off at our hotel.
Tiger was cheerful, pleasant and accommodating. He seemed quite knowledgeable and could name every building and every flower. He gave us great advice for the rest of our trip. Very happy. Overall spent about 50 RM on tickets and lunch per person.

Great tour. Mr Lam is possibly the best local guide i have ever had: some guides are good but would stick to the timings or ask you to give them a good review; Mr Lam is like an old friend who is going to show you his land with enthusiasm and passion and spend even more time with you making sure you are happy with the experience. He would go the extra mile and do anything to make you comfortable. Highly recommended!!

My family had a great time exploring Penang Hill, thanks to Max our guide. He was very knowledgeable and made our trip very interesting.
As we wanted to explore places outside of Georgetown, he also brought us to visit a durian farm(the durians were great!) and the teddy museum.

We had a wonderful tour led by Mr Lester Lam. He could speak Cantonese as well as English which was very helpful for my family. He was very knowledgeable of Penang and we learnt so much about the culture and History. Helped us take some beautiful photos and even brought his own drone to film for us ! We visited the Red markets to taste some yummy local cuisine and visited many scenic spots ending with some amazing durian to finish the trip ! Would highly recommend !!!

We did a full day tour with James. James was a phenomenal, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable guide. We were able to see all of our planned landmarks as well as a few quick add on stops along the way. We learned so much about the history and culture in Penang as well as both Malay and Chinese cultures. Would highly recommend to anyone interested!

It would have been difficult seeing certain parts of the city without a knowledgeable tour guide we had the best tour guide I have ever had in Lester! He took us to many different places we wanted to go to and was so much fun! By the end of the tour he was certainly a friend. He had a lot of enthusiasm and just made everything more fun. We went to a Buddhist temple and climbed to the top up many flights of steps and Lester brought a drone along and used it to get movie like footage and an overview that was amazing! He shared all the pictures and videos he took. His personality is great and he made the tour so much fun! If you ever go to Penang and get a tour, please request Lester as he is the best!

I’ve been on several Viator/TripAdvisor tours and can say James was unequivocally the best, most knowledgeable guide we’ve had! A native Penangite, he knows all the top attractions and will tell you all about the history and cultural significance of each site.
He also will help you organize your trip to minimize waiting in lines/in traffic and can cater to any food restrictions you may have.
Simply said, this is the BEST guided tour in Penang!!

Did a private tour with friends. Caught the Platinum train from KL Sentral – superb service. Punctual, fast, clean, plenty of food…highly recommend this service.
Max Chen the local owner of the car company was very communicative. Josh Lim, our driver and guide was fantastic- friendly, bubbly, wealth of information, an expert driver. He became a friend in just two days of traveling together.
Pinang/Georgetown was hot, humid and thundery, but the sights, and foods were well worth the visit!

Eng Seong our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly taking us away from the crowds so we could enjoy our experience and really get to explore Penang. The tour was personalised and informative and we had enough time to take in the sights and photo opportunities. Seong took lots of photos of us so we have some great memories captured. Penang Hill, temples, heritage buildings, a great lunch at the hawker centre, a drive around Georgetown to see the old buildings, street art, Chinatown and little India, and then out to the floating mosque, street food stalls. One day tour of Penang highlights how much this island has to offer and really makes me want to come again to see more.
One of the best tours I have experienced and well worth it.
