was good but more time was wasted on things which should not have even been visited. Things which should be seen like Museums were not even covered. Tour was spoiled by rude behavior of Guide and not eatable food.

As long as you are fully aware of timings – this is a good trip. It’s about 2 – 2.5 hours by coach from KL to Malacca – and it is a case of 20 minutes here, 20 minutes there. All in all, around 1.5 – 2 hours total spent at the tourist sites – an hour having lunch normal chinese – nothing malaccan and then the journey back. You do get to see all the main bits of Malacca – time enough for photos and to say you have been there – but certainly no time to leisurely explore.

We were surprised to be picked up by a car and driver when we had expected a bus. He was on time and could speak very good English.
During the drive, Neson explained the history of Malaysia, the changes that have taken place and gave an insight into everyday life. He was well informed and entertaining. On arrival at Malacca, we had two hours to explore on our own. Our guide suggested doing a boat trip down the river which we were very pleased we chose to do and would reccomend that to others as it was interesting and gave a different perspective to the town. After that we spent some time in Jonker Street before going for lunch. An enjoyable day out from the city.

Day trip to Malacca was a lot of fun. Our guide was really knowledgeable in the history of Malaysia. He was super funny and really cool. He made the trip that much more fun.

Com 4 horas de viagem, 2 para ir e outras 2 para vir, seria de esperar passar mais tempo na cidade, que vale muito a pena visitar.
Este é a grande questão que têm de resolver
    O almoço foi ótimo !

Great day trip. Guides was great & really showed us all that we needed to see. Malacca was a very interesting city & I would highly recommend doing this day trip even though jt was a very long day.

While the tour guide was nice enough, this tour was just terribly organized. Our giant bus lumbered through the tiny streets of Melaka to take us to completely uninteresting destinations like an ordinary church….and a well. The best part of the tour was the walk along Jonker Walk, but it should have been set up like a food/shopping tour, rather than stops at temples.

Troppe 4 ore di macchina tra andare e tornare per quello che abbiamo visto
    Nulla di particolarmente interessante

4 hours travelling (2 hours each way) and 4 hours there. The trip was basically a taxi service that dropped us at one part of town. Then picked us up and took us to lunch, which was average. Then dropped us at another part of town, before picking us up and transporting us back to hotel. There were a few tips on where to visit at the 2 drop-offs but no tour guiding was given. As we had around an hour and a half at each drop off the driver/guide could have walked with us for say 30 minutes at each stop, giving some history and context. This didn’t happen. Also there was supposed to be a bottle of water for each passenger (8 on our minibus) and there was 1 short so I didn’t receive a bottle. I ended up buying my own drink but a sign of goodwill would have been for the driver to offer to but one for me. Not a lot of money but poor customer service.

I had an issue with this trip which I took up with Viator and they settled it to my satisfaction. Having said that, Malacca is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours drive each way from KL. Had I known it was quite that far I would not have booked the trip

Our driver/guide really brought the rich history of this place alive for us. We loved listening to the history of the old city and experiencing the sights and culture of the place. If we had more time we would definitely visit again

The day trip lasted for 10 hours. We were collected at 9am and arrived back at our hotel at 7pm. Of this time, we spent 8 hours in the car! We only had 1 hour 45 minutes to explore Malacca which is not a significant period of time and is definitely not worth it.
Additionally, we had an incredibly inappropriate tour guide that shared information based on his own religion and beliefs. We were highly disappointed with the trip.

Hearing about the multicultural aspects of Malaysian and Malaka history. Visiting Red Square and Jonkers Street. Also, we stopped at a restaurant recommended by our guide, the fabulous Rajan.

We enjoyed the tour and the guide was able to answer our many questions. The lunch was tasty and was a nice break in the heat.
