Amazing experience. Sumiko our tour guide is the best and our driver Toshi is so careful and funny. Both of them are so sweet. It feels like we’ve known them for so long. We are a family of 4, including a 16 year old an 20 year old. First trip to Japan. The whole experience was smooth. We were able to change our tour day a few days before we went. Our guide Elena and driver Tok (hope I have the spellings right) were amazing. Elena was a wealth of knowledge not just about the Mt Fuji area but about Japanese culture. She was friendly and found a lovely lunch place with vegetarian options. Tok was also friendly and an excellent driver through beautiful countryside. We only got a brief view of the mountain due to clouds most of the day. But the trip was much more than just seeing the mountain. 10/10.

This all-day tour that took us from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji and surrounding areas and back was one of the true highlights of our vacation in Japan. Yuko and Toshi are a great team. Yuko is a wonderful guide, full of information. I especially liked the pointers on plants, trees, geology, and nature that Yuko provided. Toshi is a great driver, and also had good information to share during the ride from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji and back. We hit traffic on the way back to Tokyo, and Toshi did a great job getting us back safely.
Prior to the tour, Yuko was great at giving us options on how to spend our time, and was more than willing and helpful to create an itinerary that suited our interests. After all, there’s no way to see everything that Mt. Fuji and the surrounding areas have to offer in just one day. And on the day of the tour, we were very happy with the sights that we saw.
This tour may not be the cheapest option for a private all-day tour of Mt. Fuji, but we feel that it was completely worth the price. Again, this was one of the highlights of our vacation.

We had a wonderful time visiting Mt Fuiji and the 5 lakes region. Yoshimi is a knowledgeable, experienced and friendly tour guide; Tak is a superb and considerate driver. Joining this type of private tour is really the best way to explore the more rural area of Japan. That day, Fuji San was hiding behind the clouds but thanks to Tak for recommending one more try to view Mt Fuji at the World Heritage Center observation deck, we were able to see it at the very end of the day. The goal of the trip was to be there to admire the majestic Mt Fuji and with the help of Mr Taiji, this was achieved with no regret. The grapes farm visit was a bonus and truly enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for families! The entire experience was the highlight of our visit to Japan- So beautiful and educational! In addition to Mt. Fuji, we visited historical shrines and peaceful gardens, a Kimono museum, and a traditional Japanese folk village. We ate delicious Hoto noodles and tempura, and every single place was photo worthy! We appreciate Tasho and our driver! They were both very kind, patient, and understanding. We took our time shopping for little souvenirs, which impeded on daylight, yet they still offered to take us to more places as it got dark (the ice cave and an ancient forest). Unfortunately, we declined the offer because we were tired; but we were very impressed by their commitment to make the most out of our trip!
My family and I would like to personally thank Tasho and our driver, who were very respectful and considerate of our time and needs. They were on time for pick up. We didn’t feel rushed. They went out of their way, offering water and snacks. They were very knowledgable about what they were presenting to us. We discussed art, history, culture, personal experiences, spirituality, Japanese real estate, seasonal crops… the list goes on. Tasho is very engaging! He was professional yet personable.

At every step of the tour, we felt our guide’s enthusiasm for this incredible piece of Japan as we ventured to seldom walked areas to see the best of what the Mt Fuji area has to offer. We visited many areas that we are confident were unseen by most and, while doing so, enjoyed our tour guide speaking of local flora, customs, and other areas that demonstrated her deep knowledge of the area. We got many incredible views of Mt Fuji, toured underground caves, enjoyed local cuisine, and took in breathtaking views of a historic town. Our only regret is that we did not have time to do more.
I should add that our driver was also incredible. He made every effort to make sure we were comfortable, even offering me the jacket off his back when he saw I was cold. He also introduced us to an incredible local treat that I was sure to buy more of before I left.

Our guide Mr. Mazda, was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about Mount Fuji but also about the local culture and history. He was engaging, patient, and had a knack for making complex information accessible and interesting for our kids. He was attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure that the children were engaged and learning throughout the journey.

Had a really great experience with Masashi and Toshi! From the moment they greeted us at the lobby to the end of the trip, they offered valuable insights and interesting facts about the places we were visiting. We were traveling with my mom who has difficulty walking and Masashi and Toshi were well-prepared—they had a small step for my mom to hop on the car and even helped pushed her wheelchair around as we were visiting the different locations. Our guide Mr. Mazda, was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about Mount Fuji but also about the local culture and history. He was engaging, patient, and had a knack for making complex information accessible and interesting for our kids. He was attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure that the children were engaged and learning throughout the journey.
The driver was equally impressive, providing a safe and comfortable ride. We had an amazing day – an early start out of Tokyo we got to do so much in just a day — We saw Mt Fuji clearly, explored Hakone, and got to spend some time at the hot springs water park. It was myself, my friend, and our two kids (4,5). Toshi was a great driver, and Bob was a great guide! I’d highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get the most out of a day!

Had a really great experience with Masashi and Toshi! From the moment they greeted us at the lobby to the end of the trip, they offered valuable insights and interesting facts about the places we were visiting. We were traveling with my mom who has difficulty walking and Masashi and Toshi were well-prepared—they had a small step for my mom to hop on the car and even helped pushed her wheelchair around as we were visiting the different locations. Not a boring moment during this trip, definitely recommend!
