We were lucky we had a perfect day to view Mt. fuji. Our driver, Anas, was wonderful – very helpful and polite and the 7 seater car we travelled in was roomy and comfortable. We visited Oshino Hakkai Arakurayama Sengen Shrine, Kawaguchi Lake (Mt Fuji view) Kachi Kachi ropeway, which takes you up to a magnificent view of Mt Fuji and the area, Iyashi no Sato, an old traditional village and Lake Saiko which gives another view of Mt Fuji with the lake in the foreground. The tour was just under 10 hours and there were plenty of places to buy food and souvenirs at most of the stops. I would definitely recommend this tour and our driver, Anas.

Booked this one day Mount Fuji trip for the family and we absolutely loved it! Our driver, Zeeshan, spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable regarding the sites we visited. This is a must do especially if you want to experience the country side, see a couple of old Japanese villages, visit a couple of lakes, oh, and see Mount Fuji!

This was an excellent introduction to the Mt Fuji area environs for Japan first timers. Though it was overcast and Mt Fuji was hidden from view, the many tour cancellations made for a much less crowded experience for us. We were able to actually experience the minshuku village exhibits, and other areas around Lake Kawaguchiko with less crowds.
Our multilingual guide/driver, Zabir from Bangladesh, was excellent in providing us with instruction, introductions, and insights and enjoyment of the sights, persons, and our experience in spite of the loss of view of Fuji. We focused and enjoyed it all. The food, touristic items and his openness and good humor. His grounded and under control personality was especially important and in good stead when a flat tire on the return to Tokyo sidelined and delayed our return requiring a return aboard a flatbed tow truck and long hours of delay beside the freeway. His calm demeanor and handling were a boon to our well being and a plus for his company. It was a long difficult day for him. It was a special day and one remembered by all.

Our driver, Anees, was pleasant, very nice and courteous, but he did not attempt to give us any information about the region, sites or any “tour” information that was expected for our first day in Japan. After all of the reviews, I expected a more enjoyable “tour” experience.
We have a family of 6 and Japan and had an overall lovely day visiting great places.
We enjoyed the spacious van, they provided a car seat, and Anees stopped at an impromptu street Festival, which was fantastic.
Sadly, the rain and clouds did not cooperate that day and Mt Fuji did not come out.

Was an incredible tour. We were given amazing recommendations from our driver Wafi. Wafi was so knowledgeable and an incredible person to have, he told us about the history of the places we were visiting and was friendly and helped communicate for us so we had a smooth time. Honestly Wafi made this an unforgettable experience and we’re very thankful to him. This tour was amazing and I recommend everyone to give it a go. There’s so many amazing stops and things to do. Couldn’t do the trip. The driver got sick. They didn’t even let us know till about 10 am (the tour was supposed to start at 8 am). I reached out to them the previous night using Viator’s messaging system v confirming the pickup time and location (our hotel) but no one responded. After waiting for 30 mins early in the morning, I contacted both Dokotrip (the tour company) and Viator. The tour company didn’t respond. Viator responded over WhatsApp and basically they told me to cancel it. I asked what if the tour guide is just late. They couldn’t confirm abd left me in anxiety for 1 hour or so. Viator kept saying that they will email the tour. After Viator emailed them, the tour company reached out and said that they tried contacting me the previous night. I was in the city with my active phone over ground. No way they couldn’t reach me. This whole experience was very bad. We could have slept in late and planned for other things to do. I would suggest book a car through your hotel. This felt like a scam.
