Our tour guide Kate did a marvellous job of leading the tour. Made sure we got to know about the Phuket foodie scene in Old Town with local delicacies.
The Big Buddha was really big. Take your sunglasses, the marble reflects sunshine well.

Great experience, Kate our tour guide (her first tour) was excellent, she was kind, friendly and informative, we never guessed itwas her first tour, she took us to the big buddha and took great photos for us, then to Phuket town where we tried lovely food that she recommended, we also went to see the cute baby monkeys 🐵, we were staying by the airport so quite a journey with traffic, but over all great experience. Thank you Kate ❤️

Fantastic tour! Arin was an excellent guide, incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and very willing to answer the group’s questions.
The only thing I would change is having the cashew and pearl making stops, they didn’t add much value to the trip. I’d also have liked more information on the old town. However, I would still completely recommend the tour as the rest was great, especially the tour guide and driver.

Big Buddha trip was pretty nice. There’re monks who can give blessings inside the temple. Just donate some THB cause all of that gonna go to maintain the temples and support staff who work there. Dress up properly and be respectful!!

The tour itself is not bad, the tour guide makes a huge difference. The best attractions are the big Buddha and the temple. The rest are a let down. The guide kept talking about rich people in Thailand….I would have rather learned more about Phuket than talk about money.

Firstly, the van was 15 mins late, picking us up. This trip was advertised as English-speaking. But, apart from offering to take photos of us, the tour guide, Guan, offered no explanation of the places we visited. She was simply another guest in the van. She gave us no information on the Big Buddha, Chalong Temple, etc. We had to google the info ourselves. They would drop us off at the various sites, tell us where the meeting point was, and what time to be back. And you didn’t see her again.

Our guide Kwan was lovely and so friendly. She provided insights, info and was a great photographer to remember our tour. The only thing I’d change is to skip the pearl shop and spend more town in old town. 30 minutes is definitely not enough time down there and the pearl shop just seemed like a kickback for the tour group. The presentation was hard to understand and it seemed like a time share presentation. No one except one person was interested and they held up the entire group for at-least 20 mins. Other than that, our tour was great and highly recommend Kwan. She even provided suggestions after we departed.

What made this tour fun was the guide. Army spoke great english and was very knowledge of the attractions and the history behind them. But best of all he could communicate this to us in very good english. The big Buddha on the hill top is a sight to behold and well worth seeing up close. Wat Chalong is a beautiful temple with a great history behind it. Our guide Army helped my spouse with giving and offering and placing a gold leaf on the monks statues. It is a little more involved then just buying a leaf and placing it. He was very informative and patient. Next up was the hustle at the gem store. It was a nice break with a/c and excellent restrooms. Pod town Phuket was fun and interesting and the end of our tour. We would recommend this tour as it was affordable and fun.

Not safe for women & promotes animal cruelty. My friend and I booked a group tour on Viator for a half day Phuket city tour. Our guides name was Mai. He took us to TIGER KINGDOM which was 100% not mentioned on the itinerary or we would never have booked this tour. This place drugs tigers so tourists can take photos with them. It was odd because none of the reviews online mentioned this, so I believe he probably has some sort of private commission deal with the business and took us there on his own. Everyone on the tour protested and so eventually we left. When we protested he said “when money is involved things are not pretty”
He also called me and my friend just a “pretty face” when we raised concern’s insinuating that we were dumb and had no right to stick up for animals rights. He also asked if we had boyfriends and bought us food so we would “shut up in the van about the tigers”
He also kept telling us to be “good girls” which is just degrading and gross.
Lastly, the tour doesn’t go to Karon beach or drive by it! We wanted to be dropped off as it’s mentioned as a drop off point and he said we weren’t going.
It’s 2024 and this tour seems to be behind the times in many ways. The tour would be good if led by a different guide and they adjusted the itinerary

This is an excellent Phuket Tour with very well thought out stopping points. I chose the tour simply for for Big Buddha but I enjoyed it very much in full entirety. At the city view point there are tons of monkeys which is an extra bonus. Comfortable vehicle, good driver, water and cookies were offered.
