It was a very clear and beautiful day to see Mt. Fuji. We orginally booked for Mt. Fuji and Hakone but our tour guide recommended surrounding areas since it was so beautiful. The drive from Tokyo was about 1.5- 2 hours but flew by quickly. You can decide how much you want to do and see. Sebastian was very patient and followed our pace with a family of 5. Highly recommend

If you are looking to do a quick day trip outside of Tokyo to see Mount Fuji, this is the perfect tour to do it! Our guide, Tanaka was fantastic. He came and picked us up at our hotel in a private car. Tanaka took us to multiple locations with phenomenal views of the Mount Fuji as well as some old towns we otherwise would have never have stopped by had we did it on our own. We had the best lunch at this Indian restaurant right by Lake Kawaguchi (highly recommend stopping there!). Tanaka spoke great English and really helped make our last day here in Japan a memorable one!

Our driver was Tanaka and he really cared about what we wanted to do. It’s not possible to do all the locations that were listed on this tour, so he asked us which ones we wanted to do most, as well as provided his own recommendations. We like that he gave us space to do our own thing, but also made himself available if we wanted him to take photos of us. We also loved his lunch recommendation. It was one of our favourite restaurants that we’ve eaten at in Japan. Overall our driver was very friendly, and it was a really beautiful day and we got great pictures of Mt Fuji.

The guide was kind and I know he cared about his job, but for the price that we paid for this, I was disappointed. The vehicle did not smell clean/fresh. The stops were not described very well in English to understand where we could go versus where we are going. I thought the trip went to Hakone since it said that in the name of the private trip but we never saw that temple. We went to an old village that really had not much to do. I think would be nice to have small chat before leaving to describe options and allow us to select. The lake was beautiful, 20 min cruise was very nice to see Mt Fuji and the lunch recommended by host was nice as well with great view and he gave great care that we ate well. I still did not feel it was worth the money. Also, the guide repeatedly asked us to leave a review (several times). While I understand reviews are necessary for businesses, I felt quite a bit of pressure.

This was an amazing experience! Our tour guide Johny was so kind and helpful. He took us to as many places as possible and gave us some cool facts and information about the areas we went to. He also gave us recommendations on things to do for the remainder of our trip in Japan. Highly recommend this tour and try to get Johny as your guide!!

Mukarram was a great guide on our trip to Mount Fuji; he picked us up at our Hotel and the drive was very smooth; even though it was a two hour drive; Mukarram made it feel go so fast as he told us everything about the places we were visiting. On the first stop we grabbed a hot Starbucks coffee and headed to a beautiful town where Muharram gave us great tips on what to eat and buy great souvenirs…the view of Mount Fiji was amazing…we took great pictures…..and finally lunch at the lake was delicious.

We had Johnny as our tour guide for the day. He arrived early (but phoned us to let us know) that meant we had even more time to explore. Johnny was excellent and took us to some beautiful places – some where there were very few other tourists. We tailored the day as we went around – even having time for a short boat trip. Great day. My. Fuji is beautiful and the shrine, Lake District and temple all stunning great shopping and views. Make sure you do the swing picture at the top of the Lake (cable car). Our guide Zia was the best! Very knowledgeable- save us time knowing all the tricks to get tickets early. Kind and very funny. Ask for Zia! Note: if possible ask for the 7:30am pickup. It will save you time on the way back on traffic!

The guide, Rafat, took us to Mt. Fuji in a Mini Van, we had lunch and then to see a lake that had views of Mt. Fuji, also. The guide was kind of quiet and did not provide a lot of information. He did not take us to Lake Hakone like it was advertised in your Viator website.
