The best part of rhe trip were the sites the tour guide left alot to be desired. We lived getting to see Midhope and stand were Jamie standard looking in the window.

Our guide Douglas McQueen Hunter was like an encyclopaedia and knew so much about Scotland from history, geology, politics, etc. He also provided a vision of history of that goes against many of the myths of the Jacobites and all.
Sarah_M –
An amazing and fun day going to all the main sites for Outlander. Kelly our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the history and Outlander info. Even not a fan, the locations are beautiful!
Murali_G –
The tour was nice. The castles and the old towns were beautiful but not as exciting as the Loch Ness not Glenco / Highlands tour. If your a fan of the show I think you would get more out of this particular trip. Tour guide was nice but I preferred Grant who we had on a different tour. Nothing against this tour guide he was very knowledgeable and funny but just a bit more “business like”.
Lyndie_M –
Amazing!! Fantastic tour guide and tour. Got to see more then expected, and learned alot about the history along the way. Would definitely recommend.

Driver’s and other members of tours stories of scenes shot at our visited Outlander castles. Small group made it easy and fast to enter and exit van
Michelle_G –
GREAT TOUR! I love outlander, but it is perfect whether you can quote the show or have only seen a few episodes! My friend hadn’t watched the show and she enjoyed it too! There’s tons of history and the guide is very knowledgeable of the areas! My favorite was Blackness castle! Midhope castle was closed for filming, but the tour can’t help that! 10/10!

Our guide Cameron was so fun and informative. He made our tour so great and we will remember it always
Tricia_R –
‘Twas a great day to venture out to the filming locations. Andrew, our tour guide was cool. He was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. So helpful even when it came to things unrelated to the tour. I strongly recommend it! Thank you.

My wife is a massive outlander fan, so we did this tour for her but honestly, I had a great time too. The various sites were really historically interesting and our guide, George, was great fun. So my advice to husband’s whose wives really want to do the tour is to do it. 1. your wife will be so happy. all the women on our bus literally squealed with joy as we approached lallybroch 2. the history of these buildings is interesting outside of being outlander locations.

Doune castle was fantastic! Our guide Allister was very knowledgeable about Glasgow and the history that is in Outlander. He was very comical and apologetic since we didn’t get to see the castle that doubles as Lollybroch in Outlander.

Our tour driver Jenny was awesome. Incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. She gets an A++. Loved the tour, but she made it a home run.
Milica_B –
I booked this tour last minute and thankful I did because I enjoyed every minute of it. The Duono castle was probably my favourite part just cause we could make our way through it and see how people would have lived there back in the day. I would recommend to bring some warm clothes cause it was very cold in there. It was also really interesting to listen to how outlander used the location to film. I also enjoyed going to Culross. It is such a pretty place.

We had a great day! Loved seeing all the castles and wee towns that made up all the Outlander sites. Alan, our guide, was great! He made the whole trip enjoyable even just riding in the van. We want a copy of your playlist!!

Our guides were full of fascinating information spiced with funny comments and jokes. I was inspired by the fierce love of the Scots for their country over hundreds of years!
The guides were especially helpful in making sure I could enjoy as much as possible with my bad knee.

I need to see the show . I have another amazing experientce in Scotland . I hope I back soon in Highland my favorite place
Samira_M –
I have enjoyed all the locations that I have visited, but what made this guided tour trip exceptional was the tour guide George. He created fun filled moments during the rides in the bus, by printing out lyrics to songs so that we could sing along to them, he even taught us a Gaelic expression, I just can’t remember it though. He is knowledgeable and friendly, and I would love to have a tour guide on another adventure.

The scenery was spectacular. Our host driver was ok. Nice enough but nothing special. We … 19 people …were packed in a small bus . It was fine

The outlander tour was a great experience. I could see the places I hoped for and the little surprise tour provided by George at the end was awesome.
I had a great day out and George was a great tour- guide who kept the crazy “Jamie” fans under control.

Grrrraeme was wonderful. Know his history well and cleared up some questions and confusion and made the history come to life. We had a great small tour with lots of treats, albeit we did get lost, 😉 😉
