Our guide was friendly and humorous. He had many stories to tell and told them well. The ride along the river was beautiful with our guide pointing out the various castles along the way. Lunch was delicious. The wine tasing was fun and included a crash course in how the wine was made. As we went in November, we had the castle tour rather than the boat ride, but it was all fun and interesting.

Was glad to get Michael as our tour guide again. This time around we had a group of 5. We had a meal at a restaurant and since Im a vegan, I was happy that the restaurant was able to provide something for me. Michael then shared with us about the different types of wine. Since I do not drink, I decided to listen to what the wine had to offer. We then had a 2 hour boat ride which was very spectacular. We ended the trip with exploring the Christmas market at Rudeheim. It was totally a memorable trip thanks to Michael.

Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable about the area, he was funny and spoke English very well. He explained a lot about the towns along the way, the signs on the Rhein River, how far from where the river started in Switzerland. He explained about the wines and when grapes are harvested. The weather was quite cold and foggy so slightly difficult to see out of the frosted up windows on the boat ride.
