To see all historical sites of missions in San Antonio; very educational. Also Spanish influence in Texas.

Don’t just visit the Alamo and Riverwalk when visiting San Antonio. Be sure to see the other four Missions (forts) as well. The churches are still standing at all of them and they are much more decorated and beautiful than the church you will see at the Alamo. Perry was amazing and knew his history. I like the religious and architecture element to his tours. The first two churches are massive. Check this out. Thanks for a wonderful small-group tour!

The tour was incredible. So great to visit and get so much of the history. We even saw a wedding and the beautiful couple at Mission Concepcion. Not all missions were accessible because it was later in the day so consider an early tour to have a better chance of getting inside all the missions.

A guided tour is always a nice way to tour historical sites, unknown territory. Your guide does the driving and talking while you enjoy the history.
Our guide was Alex. He was kind, professional and enlightened us with historical facts as well as humor. We recommend him if in San Antonio.
We also recommend visiting the Missions. They’re beautiful and rich in history.

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the San Antonio Missions. We are so thankful that we stumbled onto this tour and history of San Antonio that most visitors and locals miss. The missions are beautiful, sacred and as an American, I know more about our history that begin in 1715 right here in San Antonio!

Experience was wonderful, Small tour so east to see things, our tour guide Perry was very informative. Worked very hard to get us into the churches on Sunday morning. Knew the missions and the people. Was a great morning. Would have been disappointed if we couldn’t get into the churches, as it was we couldn’t get on to one of the missions because it was a Sunday morning. They should make you aware of that.

We had a great time on the San Antonio Missions Tour. Perry did a great job explaining the culture and significance of the missions over the span of almost 300 years. The missions are tightly intertwined into the politics and culture of San Antonio and help put into perspective the current culture. I would highly recommend this tour!

I was in town for a conference and had an afternoon free. I booked the tour last minute online and the process was very easy. Alex picked me up at my hotel and he was a fabulous guide. The Missions are a must see if in San Antonio.

We had been to San Antonio several times. However our tour of the missions was the first tour for us. Alex was amazing!! He knows so much history of the area. We learned things we had missed on past trips. Will definitely try for another tour with Alex next trip. He deserves a raise!!!

  16. Laura_S

I have been to San Antonio many times over the years and have never seen the missions. I was very enriched by this experience. We don’t know the town and didn’t have a car this time, and our guide was wonderful.
If you are on a budget, seeing the missions by bicycle seemed a good option. Plus! As of this writing, they’re free to get in.

  17. Brooke_K

We took a tour with Domingo who was a highly knowledgeable guide. He took us to four missions and provided additional information about the local interconnected history and sites. We really appreciated him bringing ample cold water for us and he altered the schedule slightly to insure we would get to see a particular site that sometimes closes early. He was very funny and engaging., a real pleasure to spend the afternoon with. We would highly recommend this tour as a must for visitors to San Antonio.

  18. Thomas_C

Domingo was an excellent guide! He knew everything there is to know about San Antonio history. He kept us safe and provided water whenever we needed it. The sites we visited and the stories he told were amazing. Highly recommend.

It was nice being able to see all four missions with a four. Driver very knowledgeable gave a lot of information and kept you from having to read all the boards about the information

We learned that San Antonio is more than just the Alamo. The 4 UNESCO heritage mission complexes along with the Alamo made up the start of what is now San Antonio. If you like history, architecture, art – then this is the tire for you. Our guide Domingo did an excellent job.
