A jam packed day, a little bit rushed on occasion but overall fantastic, we got to see so much. Our driver Red was brilliant, such a ray of positivity and fun. He really made the day great. He was so helpful to passengers, I like to be left alone to enjoy my time but I could see how awesome he was with passengers who are more needy, so helpful and nothing phased him, so eager to help. Colac for dinner, I would recommend the Thai place, the chef makes incredible food. I think it’s the best Thai place I have been to. Great value for money as we got to sit back and relax and enjoy the trip. We were offered my dorta’s car to do the trip but we opted for the bus tour and do not regret it, looking forward to doing the Grampians next time, hope Red does that one too! Will defo do the tour rather than drive ourselves! Ten out of ten! Haven’t done the big coach tour which might be slightly more comfy (roomy) but the small tour is also more intimate, we loved it. 10/10!

We had a brilliant tour, although 14 hours is a long time on the road. Our tour guide Hilda made it a very enjoyable day. She was very courteous , informative and helpful for the entire journey.
We saw so many sites and were able to take loads of photographs . We stopped to see lovely colourful birds who even perched on your arm or head . We did see only one koala but it didn’t matter, as we really enjoyed that stop.
When we arrived at the 12 apostles , what a sight to enjoy. This was certainly the highlight of the day. There is so many spectacular viewing points to take loads of selfies and photographs.
We even stopped at Gibson steps, for those fit and able went down to the beach and got some stunning shots.
To finish our great day we stopped in Colac for a well deserved evening meal . Lastly it was an hour and a half drive back to Melbourne where Hilda dropped us off at our individual hotels.
This was the best tour I have had by far in a long time.

Red was the best tour guide, solid 10/10. Full of knowledge, funny and made sure everyone on the bus was comfortable and happy. We were disappointed at the beginning as the seats were single file on the near side of the bus, so if you get on last you’ll probably be sitting alone. However, you want to be sitting on the near side as that’s the sea and coastal views all along the great ocean road. So made it all worth it as we could see everything. We had a great day. Thank you Red.
