This is worth every penny! The land rovers, falconry at sunset, Bedouin Camp dinner, entertainment and camel ride makes this is a MUST do tour on your trip! Our guide Ben was fantastic! A lot of energy that kept up the fun the entire trip! The guides take great care of you. This is well organized and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Dubai. Amazing experience, highly recommend this tour and Platinum heritage. From the very beginning the tour was informative and well organised. Half way through the desert ride, it began to rain and hail. Not many people can say they got rain and hail in the middle of desert before, even our tour guide was surprised. It was all part of the adventure. We were rebooked the next day and the experience was even better. The desert ride in the vintage range rover were fun. The highlights were definitely the desert tour and Bedouin camp. The whole Platinum heritage team were fantastic.

Incredible tour! I went by myself and had a great experience. I was with a shared car, but everyone was lovely and our guide Lize was amazing. The tour in the car was so cool and you get to pick out a headscarf before you depart and get a nice waterbottle to keep. After the desert tour there is a falcon show with refreshments (the cinnamon tea is so good!) and then onto the camp where there are so many activities and the whole Platinum Heritage team there is amazing. I loved getting a henna tattoo, trying all the foods, smoking shisha and hugging the camels (you can ride too, but I skipped the ride). Great facilities for bathrooms and just make sure to dress comfortable, there is no AC anywhere except in the hotel transfer car but I didn’t mind. I will definitely be back and want to stay overnight next time. The company is great and part of the proceeds go back to the conservation area and they do very well to not destroy the environment like other tours. Thanks for the great experience!

This was a phenomenal experience! Jovan and Duncan were my guides and they provided a thrilling and educational adventure of desert activities in the natural beauty of the Arabian dunes. The rest of the Heritage team presented a wonderful traditional campsite and exquisite cuisine to accompany the evening shows. This tour was the highlight of my trip to the UAE.

Behlul was a great guide, very knowledgeable and lots of fun. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Excellent events planned, we’ll organized, wonderful food and entertainment. Highly recommended. My wife left her shoes in the van and they brought them back to our hotel the next day- now that’s customer service.

This is an unique experience . Driving up in the sand on a old Land Rover is amazing . FYI the video came out exceptional . They use drone while you traveling through . Initially, we booked our trip on Friday, but the weather forecast said it would rain, fortunately the tour operator allowed us to change to Saturday.
Houston was our guide, he is very funny and knowledgeable about the desert. On our way to the camp, he also stoped by the camel racing club to have a look.
The falcon show was amazing, the dinner was also fantastic. We felt most welcome by the Arabian hosts.

The best part of this tour was the land rover drive through the desert to the camp site. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept the group engaged. Unfortunately thats where the good part ends. The two performances at the camp lasted for a total of 10 mins or so and were pretty average. Please check for the list of performances and the duration before booking to be more informed. The group size (10-11 people) was not exactly small (as described) and felt a bit crammed in the land rover. The camp site set up was nice but the food was very disappointing and if you are a vegetarian, better pack your own food!

Our tour guide was extremely welcoming, and he introduced us to everyone else, who was from Columbia, the Netherlands, and Germany. Me and my wife got to meet a lot of different couples from different areas, and we were treated very nicely the entire trip. It takes up a lot of the day, and it is definitely worth what you paid for. I would recommend this excursion for anyone that goes into Dubai.

We had the absolute best time on this tour! Logistically, it was very easy and stress-free and organized. Each event during the tour was perfect. We loved learning about Emirati conservation efforts and seeing the Al Mahas, running barefoot in the dunes, seeing the Falcon demonstration, and also learning about Ramadan and participating in Iftar. The dinner and activities at the camp were also so much fun – the food was plentiful, the henna was beautiful, and drumming and dancing was also fun to watch and participate with. Of course, we also loved the camel rides.
But all of this was so nicely complimented by our assigned guide, Saif. He made the trip so special because he was so knowledgeable about Emirati history and culture, so at every stop he gave us so much more additional information. He took so many pictures of us too, capturing all the fun memories. He was so kind and we wish him all the best.
I recommend everybody – couples, families, friends – do take this tour while in Dubai. You will enjoy every single minute!

Wow, what a wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Jacob, picked us up and then lead us through different parts of the experience: getting into an open roof vehicle, dressing up in beduine head gear, falcon show and then the beduine camp. While there were many people, we were all in separate sections of the camp and learned about the beduine lifestyle. The organisers were very generous with a couple of surprises thrown in and they are doing a great job looking after the reserve and Oryx. Loved the music and gun dance. One not to be missed.

Ibraham, our guide, was exceptional in the knowledge he brought to the tour and how he and all the company employees conducted themselves. We had many questions concerning the tour and we received prompt replies from Platinum Heritage. It was a memorable day. We had the absolute best time on this tour! Logistically, it was very easy and stress-free and organized. Each event during the tour was perfect. We loved learning about Emirati conservation efforts and seeing the Al Mahas, running barefoot in the dunes, seeing the Falcon demonstration, and also learning about Ramadan and participating in Iftar. The dinner and activities at the camp were also so much fun – the food was plentiful, the henna was beautiful, and drumming and dancing was also fun to watch and participate with. Of course, we also loved the camel rides.
But all of this was so nicely complimented by our assigned guide, Saif. He made the trip so special because he was so knowledgeable about Emirati history and culture, so at every stop he gave us so much more additional information. He took so many pictures of us too, capturing all the fun memories. He was so kind and we wish him all the best.
I recommend everybody – couples, families, friends – do take this tour while in Dubai. You will enjoy every single minute!

An incredible day spent in the desert. Everything is organized from start to finish. The camp dinner is plentiful and delicious. Our guide Abdul was very informative and friendly and made our experience so much better. Would highly recommend this tour.

Wow, what a wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Jacob, picked us up and then lead us through different parts of the experience: getting into an open roof vehicle, dressing up in beduine head gear, falcon show and then the beduine camp. While there were many people, we were all in separate sections of the camp and learned about the beduine lifestyle. The organisers were very generous with a couple of surprises thrown in and they are doing a great job looking after the reserve and Oryx. Loved the music and gun dance. One not to be missed.

This is the one you should do … no gimmicks just great information from Emolio and authentic experiences from a team of passionate individuals . Some of our family have done the “other” tours and really there is no comparison … this is far superior. If I had to pick some gripes – minivan that collected us and others was very hot and the main course for the buffet was not as good as the other courses,. Veggie offering could do with some work … however these are minor
