This tour was perfect and certainly a high light of our week in Dubai. Our guide was super and he was exceptionally accommodating and shared a large variety of information about the desert, Dubai and the history. I wasn’t interested in being a large vehicle and the Mercedes G SUV was perfect but even better still was the amazing dinner that we were served in a private area out in the desert. Thanks Ibrahim, really appreciated your sense of humour.

What a fabulous excursion, book this and you will have the time of your life !!!! The driver, Hamdy, picked us up promptly at our hotel in a sparkly clean Land Rover. We had booked a private car and so excited that we did. We traveled to the camel race track and Hamdy educated us on the specifics of Camel racing and how it has changed over the years. When we arrived at the preserve there was a photographer to take pictures throughout our travels. The first thing we did was see a falconry show with Sarah – it was very informative. Then the camels arrived and my husband and I were in for our first camel ride and what a treat it was! After a ride on the camels we were escorted to our private tent followed by 6 course Bedouin meal. There is more food than you can eat and as they say in Dubai do as the Emarati’s do so we had to eat some camel and boy was it tender and delicious. Unfortunately we had found out we were on the Arabic Holiday and there were no belly dancers, however we were pleasantly surprised with a one of a kind star gazing show. How incredibly awesome it was to see Saturn!! Hamdy’s going away gift was a chocolate camel made out of camel milk DELICIOUS!! A fantastic experience with a one of kind tour guide thank you again Hamdy!

If not the friendly tour guides Miriam and Voldemar I would rate this tour with no more than one star. The falcon show was too short and quite primitive, the ride in the desert was so-so, the dinner was frustrating, nothing to write home about and definitely not the type of food you expect when paying almost 500 per person for the tour.
The tour guides on the other hand were very pleasant and friendly.
If all of the desert tours are like that then I recommend to choose the one for a fraction of this price.

As someone who loves to dabble, over the course of 7 hours, you get a little bit of everything the desert has to offer with, 1st class transport, amazing food, camel rides, falcon show, dinner entertainment, history and to top it off, beautiful photography / video keepsakes.

I had high expectations regarding this tour and it still surpassed them. Majid our driver and tour guide did a fantastic job of keeping us engaged, teaching us about the desert and culture of the Bedouin people, and guiding us through the various activities. The aspects of this tour are highly recommended and if you can afford it the platinum heritage tour is the best option and is different than the other options. Other companies offer desert safaris but they are not equal, make sure you buy the platinum heritage from this company if you want a truly unique excursion and not just dune bashing and a bbq dinner.
