Rachid our guide was very helpful during the trip. Good organization, good timing. The only shortfall was the falconery show. The falcon flew away and the falconers was off to find him, for a while. Why having a South African falconers ? A local guy would have been more authentic, I think. He was a nice guy but his falcon was maybe not trained enough… other wise we had a very nice morning.

This is why you come to Dubai! The whole experience from start to finish was unique and top notch! Our guide Oscar picked us up right on time in an immaculate vehicle. He was knowledgeable about the UAE, the desert and answered any questions we had. He was also very kind, thoughtful and patient. Can’t wait to come back and have Oscar host us for another desert safari.

By far the BEST tour of our entire trip. From beginning to end the trip is as professional, informative and fun. We were picked by Jay at our hotel right on time. During the drive to dunes he told us about the city, monuments we were passing, fun facts, and stories. He made the drive fun and relaxing. When we arrived we were given drinks and greeted by a professional Falcon trainer. He explained about each bird and then gave everyone a chance to hold it. He then did some flying exercises and showed us how they are trained. He then brought out an owl and each person got to practice flying the owl. The group was small so each person got multiple turns. He then brought out another Falcon that would fly through your hands and then we got to fly another owl. It was incredible and everyone had an amazing time. We then got to ride camels and had a traditional breakfast. They had fruit, fresh juice, traditional coffee and pancakes made on the fire. It was plenty of food and delicious. Jay then picked us back up for a hero drive in the desert. They gave us all stainless steel water bottles, bags and headgear for the drive. It was so nice to stop and feel the plants, learn about the desert and see dunes. Plenty of places to get out and take photos. I booked any afternoon desert safari with another group and I really regretted not doing the Heritage tour. This tour was the highlight of our trip and would definitely do other tours with them in the future.

We had such a fantastic time! Booked this adventure for my parents who were visiting us from the USA, and they are in their 60s so I was hoping it would be just the right amount of adventure and desert relaxation. The falconry exhibit was amazing and well worth every penny. The desert owl was especially beautiful. My parents got to ride the camels and enjoyed the breakfasts, too. Our guide was pleasant, polite, and so kind to take pictures and tell us about the conservation area. We also brought our 1 year old son and it was a great choice even though he is not walking. He loved the sand and the birds. We will be booking through this group again for future visitors!

If you’re curious about falcons and other birds of prey, if you want to see them fly, be able to hold them yourself and have them fly to you – this is your trip. You’ll get one hour with a falconer in a small group of people and learn everything there is to know about falconry. Most remarkable: these birds often have their own passports and fly on their own seats in business or first class next to their owners to competitions or hunting trips abroad. On top of it, you get a great breakfast in a camp and tour a desert conservation area where you hear a lot about the wildlife and the plants that thrive despite these hard conditions. Our very experienced guide was super knowledgable, knew the good photo spots and spotted animals in the wild we would have never noticed. A highly recommended experience!

This tour is amazing and I had so much fun! Our first guide sadly hit his head and was bleeding. Second guide is Danish he is also impeccably good! He explained to us in details and even bothered pointing out on city landmarks on the way back to hotel. Thanks to both of our guides!

What a fabulous tour. Great it was early morning start, so not too hot!
Very interesting learning about the Bedouin way of life, and eating a delicious traditional breakfast in a replica of a typical Bedouin camp.
(Don’t worry ladies, as lovely clean toilets are in the camp!)
Camel riding through the desert and riding in a vintage Land Rover jeep was so much fun.
Watching the falcon perform was fantastic and so interesting, with photo opportunity with the falcon. The guides spoke very good English and were so lovely, and very informative about all the ways of Bedouin life and the Nature Reserve in the desert.
Highly recommend this tour from couples to families.
