Our driver was excellent, he went over & above so we could enjoy the sand dune bashing experience. When we arrived at the camp we were hounded by locals to buy drinks or take pictures that cost extra than our ticket allowed. Show was very good. The Camel ride that is free is a 40second ride at most & they won’t take your picture on your phone unless you give them money. Tell you certain things are free but then they say it costs extra. You get the very basic package & anything extra they charge for. Good experience but the hidden things dampen it a little.

Worst experience ever. The tour guide was over an hour late and did not contact the hotel to tell us. Once he arrived he did not offer any explanation or apology. I would not consider him a guide as he did not say a single word the entire time. When we arrived at the desert it was too dark to even take pictures. As soon as we got there we were told we can line up to ride the camel. The camel ride was 1 minute MAX! The camel went in circle in a small area sectioned off with pylons. We were told that if we wanted a longer ride we would have pay them cash. We paid for the longer ride and it was no more than 2 minutes long. Since we arrived so late all we did was eat and watch the dance show. There was no time for henna painting, sheesha, sandboarding or a photo shoot in an Arabic dress. I contacted Viator for a refund or at least a partial refund considering I did not get what I paid for and I wasted a day in Dubai, and they would not refund the money. I am so disappointed. I will never book with Viator again.
