Our guide Sergio was very friendly, respectful, and put a lot of effort into making our tour enjoyable. We went on a day when there was lots of rain scheduled to come in but he allowed us to move at our own pace and enjoy the tour. We got to see everything we wanted on a relatively quiet day and beat the rain by minutes. The drive back was in heavy rain but we always felt safe and fortunate for our experience. The total trip was 11 hours which felt like the perfect amount of time at the sites, ~3 hours at Chichen Itza and 2 hours at Ik Kil cenote, both of which offered a very unique experience.

Sergio was a fantastic, knowledgeable, passionate guide at Chichen Itza! The site itself was AMAZING! I couldn’t believe how many ruins there were and how well preserved they are. We ended up with just us four (2 couples), which was great as we had many questions for Sergio. I can’t recommend this tour enough. The lk Kil Cenote was pretty crowded, but still a cool experience. A wonderful day and tour! Thanks Sergio!

Pickup was prompt, the transport was excellent and we arrived in good time to bet the rush which appears to be the secret to a positive experience. Our guide, Jacky did a great job of explaining all the highlights in the time that we had and had an answer for all questions. The cenote was a welcome relief after a warm walk around the ruins. The latter was a little crowded but largely due to it being a local holiday period. It’s 3 hours drive from Cancun but if you’re prepared with a pillow, book and/or iPad even my young son didn’t find it too onerous.
