Our tour guide Aranzuza was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the ancient history. Friendly and engaged in providing personal service. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get more info on the historical relevance of the various sites! We had a good balance of personal time as well!

This trip was one of the highlights of our entire tour.
Our guide was Gerry and he was absolutely fantastic!
Knowledgeable, courteous, experienced, kind, excellent at anticipating the needs of the group.
He is one of the best tour guides we have ever had the pleasure of traveling with and he is 100% an asset to this company!
Worth every penny, especially since we were traveling with two more elderly family members.

The entire day was amazing. Carlos was prompt, patient and very friendly. We enjoyed his vast knowledge of the Mayan culture and history of area. The restaurant where we ate lunch was delicious and not one of those buffets with too many people and the same old stuff. Some of our favorite memories were just our simple talks while driving and finding and sampling some fruit from a chicle tree. We felt like Carlos was part of our family as we shared memories from our lives and his. Never again will I tour with large crowds on cramped buses.

This was an excellent private tour. Mario the driver was very professional and very knowledgeable. We also were the first arrived on site just before the doors opened. It was perfect for pictures without tons of tourists in front of the pyramid. Cenote Oxman was nice. Valladolid was alo very interesting. The car was also very comfortable. I strongly recommend this private tour !!

Thank you Miguel for such an interesting and enjoyable day. You really brought Chichen Itza to life with all the information you shared. We got there as it opened which was worth it before the crowds arrived. Oxman cenote was amazing and we happily bobbed in the cool water admiring the formation. Lunch in Valladolid was brilliant and another highlight. We tried Sikil P’ak (roasted pumpkin seed dip) which was very tasty; we will be making this at home to remind us of our wonderful day. Thank you also Miguel for driving us throughout the day.

Incredible day; highly recommend this tour! We were picked up at our hotel at 6:30am for the ride to Chichén Itzá. It seems to be an early hour, however, it was 100% worth it since we arrived at the ruins about 20 minutes before the site opened for the day and we were among the first few people in, which gave his an incredible 45-60 minutes of virtually having the ruins to ourselves–incredible. By the time we departed around 10:30am, the visitors load was heavy and cars and tour buses were arriving as far as the eye could see. After this, we had a lovely lunch in the lovely city of Valladolid; it was a really a fine dining lunch of cochinita pibil (or whatever you liked to order), and then cooled off with a swim in the crystal clear fresh waters of Oxmán Cenote, a beautiful sinkhole note near Valladolid. There was no rush to anything during the day; if you needed to use the restroom, one was found for us. Every need was attended to by our driver and tour guide Abraham, who was learned and generous with his time and explanations of everything. We traveled in a late model Suburban which was very comfortable. Cold water, phone charges, and good A/C were all in the car. We were dropped off back at our hotel around 3:00pm. Really, this is one you do not want to miss, and it was actually a great value for all the activities and inclusions.

Amazing Tourguide. He speaks perfect English and German and the Tour was perfect organised with special thanks to our Guide Juan.

I’m so happy we paid for a private tour. Abraham was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. Arriving early with a private guide saved so much time and hassle. Visiting the ruins and a cenote was the highlight of our vacation ✨️

We spent an excellent day with our guide! He was very knowledgeable of the sights and the history/archaeology aspect of Chcihen Itza. We also had a great lunch in Valladolid and say the historic downtown center. The centoe was also very fun to visit and was a nice refresher after some time walking in the heat. I would definitely recommend this tour to my family and friends.

Eric was our tour guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about teaching us about the Mayan culture. He was great with our children, 11 and 7 years old, patiently answering their questions in a way they could understand. Our 11yo liked Chichen Itzá best and our 7yo liked the cenote the best. The lunch was also very good. We all agree that it was a great day with something for each of us. We highly recommend asking for Eric as your tour guide.

Having visited Chichén Itzá before, this was by far the best tour I’ve experienced. Every detail was taken care of by Juan, our guide, along with the tour company. They excelled at communicating all of the plans in advance by email and WhatsApp, reserving lunch and accommodating our desire to visit Ek Balam for an extra fee. We were traveling as a family and I must say that our guide Juan (who is also an educated archeologist) has extremely deep knowledge to share not only about the sites, but also about the Mayan people and their culture. We are grateful for his ancestry, and to him for connecting us to the “real” Yucatan peninsula while also bypassing all the lines and getting us to the best spots for our photos and the overall experience. Do not hesitate booking with this organization, you will not regret it!

Awesome day at Chichen Itza! Our tour guide Eric was incredibly knowledgeable on the history and local culture and structured the day to fit our schedule. He organized all aspects of the tour, including a wonderful lunch and afternoon swim in a cenote.

Swimming in the cenote was a very unique experience. It was very refreshing after a morning of exploring Chichen Itzá. Lunch at the local restaurant was authentic and very delicious. We liked that the driver was very knowledgeable and friendly and allowed us to decide how much time to spend at each experience. We took an infant along so his patience was much appreciated. We highly recommend this excursion.

Incredible day; would highly recommend this tour! Our driver and tour guide Abraham picked us up at our hotel at 6:30am for the ride to Chichén Itzá. Though that seems early, it was 100% worth it as we arrived at the ruins about 20 minutes before the site opened allowing us to be among the first people in, beating the heat and crowds. Once we left Chichén Itzá, we were given the option as to what we wanted to do next, eat or visit the cenote. Since we were not quite hungry yet, we decided to visit Oxmán Cenote and cool off in the crystal clear fresh waters. After this, we headed to Paladar de Cura where we had an amazing lunch in the city of Valladolid. There was no rush to do anything during the day and the tour was truly at our own pace. Abraham was very knowledgeable of the sights and the history/archaeology aspect of Chichén Itzá and always made sure we were happy and comfortable. Honestly, this is one tour you do not want to miss, and it is actually a amazing deal for all the activities, inclusions and personal attention given!

A fascinating place to visit. Our tour guide, Juan, is a retired archaeologist who has actually worked on dig sites at the “city”. A wealth of knowledge. Be sure to go early in the day. We did, and we’re able to get right in. The lines coming in as we were leaving were much, much longer.

  18. Amanda_H

Guide was fantastic and we were able to avoid nearly all the crowds on a very busy Sunday. Highly recommend this tour if you would like both a private and intimate experience, but also would like to know more about the culture and diversity of Meso Americans.

Eric was an incredibly knowledgeable guide, we were thoroughly entertained and enlightened throughout. He was very accommodating and we were thrilled to have the flexibility that this tour provides. The only heads up we’d give is that it’s clear that there are arrangements between certain vendors and you will likely be brought to them.
Would definitely do it again. Best way to have a once in a lifetime experience.
