Personalized information from Bruce was a great enhancement to our tour.
Learning interesting anecdotes of the areas we visited made the tour more personal.

Too many stops, too little time at each. Lots of pressure from the guide to walk faster, hurry up, follow her plans – which is unhelpful when traveling with small children. Coach speakers & mic were screechy to the point of being painful. Albanian guide was hard to understand and several times contradicted in-house guide or pamphlet information. We left around 8:15am but didn’t return until 9:15pm which was entirely too long a day for young kids.
Alice_K –
We were on a bus with either no or broken air conditioner. We were lucky nobody collapsed from the heat on the way back to London, and that was on a day when the outside Temps were in the comfortable 70s

Fantastic cruise to see the sights of Paris. Artur is a great guide. We were running late, but Artur waited a few minutes before departing. Certainly could have left at the set time. That alone gives him 5/5. Artur stops and positions the boat many times to take great photos for you. Certainly would recommend.
NOTE: This is not a private cruise. The Viator app does not list the entire description for this cruise. This is a shared cruise unless you book a minimum of 4 tickets. The full description of the cruise can be found on the desktop version of the site.

You canceled my reservation and still sent me conflicting emails saying it was still on. Which one is it visitor? Am I getting a refund or am I out the money? I didn’t show up because one email said it was cancelled then I get another email telling me I should check in???? WTF?

Our guide Lucy was an excellent tour guide! She is very knowledgeable and very conscientious. She made sure everyone was accounted for at each stop so no one was left behind. We had more than enough time to visit each site with the extended visit time. Transportation to and from London by coach made the trip very easy, the only thing to note is that the departure meeting point is at Bus Stop 3 not Bus Stop 1. It was truly a wonderful tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see Stonehenge and Windsor Castle.

Danxia was extremely informative, knowledgeable, and passionate during Stonehenge and Windsor Castle tour! I think we all felt like we had a personal guide as she met with everyone giving excellent tips of where to shop, eat, and get back to our hotels. Sarb did a great job navigating our tour.

Requested mandarin tours but didn’t get one. But tour guide helped as much as he could. The weather was horrible today

The TourGuide Dolly is extremely racist and ruined the experience by continuously sharing her racist opinion of Asians, complaining about her salary, King Charles taking away her over 65 benefits and her time off schedule . The “Chinese” purchased her home for $56M and the “foreigners” (Asians) she believes eavesdrop on her explanations to get a free tour. Delusional because at Stonehenge she reads you a children’s book which monopolizes/wastes your time there (I have pictures)! In addition, at Windsor Castle there is a FREE multimedia tour (take it!); Dolly walked right by it and proceeded to make racist comments about Megan marrying Harry and says “okay so walk through the tourist trap”… so much more I could say but running out of characters: AVOID THIS TOUR!

The trip was good and the guide and driver were great. It would have been nice to have a little more time at Stonehenge. Also, better directions to find the coach would have made the beginning of the trip less stressful.

Our guide Stephan was great.
It was his first trip and he was very good.
We needed additional time at Windsor castle.
Even an extra half hour at Windsor would of been better.
Lauren_C –
Adequate time at each stop. Tour guide was quirky but got us from place to place on time and gave good info on stops and surrounds areas we passed on the bus
Gale_M –
We had a wonderful tour guide. I believe his name was Norton, but I’m not sure. Very friendly and interesting.

I can NOT give a 5 star review because of the departure instructions included with this tour. They are woefully inadequate and that is an understatement. Care should be taken to understand that most people choosing this tour are NOT Londoners and are NOT familiar with public transportation. My friend and I had been in London 2 weeks at the time, had traveled multiple times on the tube and trains, learning and doing very well with it. On our way to the Bus Stop 3 at Victoria, we stopped NOT LESS than 6 Londoners…security people, employees of the train stations around the corner, etc., those doing it ALL THE TIME…trying hard to follow Google maps…and we still nearly missed it when we left a hotel not 2 tube stations down an entire hour before meeting time. The tour operator and bus driver were nice and the tour itself excellent BUT FOR THIS!! they need to exercise better care to provide better instructions for finding the meeting point. Simply putting “Bus Stop 3, Bulliard Way, Victoria” is nowhere near enough to go by for people who are NOT Londoners, as evidenced by the many Londoners knowledgeable of the system who couldn’t follow the departure point instructions either.

We felt that even though it was an extended visit there was no time to get lunch. We didn’t get very clear directions on where to go once in the castle so we skipped it and went to Saint Paul’s Cathedral. Dolly was very well educated on Stone Hedge and the Castle’s history. Need to have time for lunch as advertised. Felt very rushed.
Gayle_B –
After waiting for over an hour for the bus, the tour was cancelled. Not sure why it took them that long to figure out that there would be no tour. Extremely disappointing! No tour the next day, so we could not rebook with Golden Tours. Looked for other tours, which unfortunately were already fully booked. Buyer beware!

Each story told by our guide, Eileen, was memorable. She was enchanting and knowledgeable, helpful, patient, organized, and understanding! Stonehenge is fascinating and extremely well presented. Windsor Castle is astounding, simply gorgeous!
Plenty of time at each destination!

Thomas and Malcom were wonderful! We felt like we had enough time at both stops without being rushed!
