We purchased train tickets for this joint event of Westminster Abbey Tour and Houses of Parliament. We arrived at the designated spot with our confirmation email but the guides told us we could not do the Houses of Parliament as it was over subscribed. There was no further discussion we were told to contact the tour operator and to make a decision whether we wanted to see Westminster Abbey or cancel everything. Great, the train wasn’t cheap either. We contacted the agent that day, but still haven’t heard anything back.

Impressive part of English history and culture! Unfortunately you are not allowed to make pictures, which decreases your future memories and feelings. Watching images online and in books helps, but not connecting you personally to the place. Audio guide pays to much attention to political system.

Our Parliament tour has been booked via Tripadviser and we organized our London’s 3-days schedule based on this booking. However, when we came to the meeting point, no tour guide appeared. We came 20 min before the scheduled time and waiting one hour after that. Nobody has shown up. We tried to call to tour operator – Amigo Tours UK – using our roaming (we are from the USA and did not have a local phone), however, we were able to record our call on a recording machine only. Finally, we waisted a lot of time, we broke our day plans, we we very disappointed and angry. In several days we got the following e-mail from the Amigo Tours UK : “dear valued client, we are very sorry for the late response, and the inconvenience, we proceed with the total refund. thank you”. That’s it.
The company like Amigo Tours UK strongly put down the reputation of TripAdviser/Viator and I strongly suggest to terminate a contract with the Amigo Tours UK.

The company never showed up. Other people also standing around us … no one showed up to meet us. The Abbey admin wanted the group name said we were not the only ones that got stood up by Amigo tours. Will be asking for my money back since we all had to get our own way in again. We checked with security when we were done. They said this company was a scam.
