Very entertaining and knowledgeable tour leader (Beefeater) however each tour group seemed to be at least 50 strong with lots of jostling to be closer to the Beefeater to hear properly. Cobbled streets and narrow stairs would be problematic for the unsteady. I saw one person wheelchair bound and the assistant was having major issues trying to manoeuvre the wheelchair. Enjoyable tour but very crowded.

Great morning out. The yoeman guide Dev was very funny and very knowledge. He kept the group entertained and interacted well with everyone. He was able to deliver the information to a wide audience.
There is lots for everyone to enjoy and lots to learn about our history.
The only negative is the queue getting in. We arrived at the time allocated on our pre booked tickets, but everyone else had the same time and although the queue were relatively quick( 40 minutes) it seems that times don’t matter.
The yoeman tours are every hour and definitely worth doing.

We were told the jewels would still be there but they were not so was not that great. The walk was too far for some of our clients. We were told it was a ten minute walk from our hotel but it was 30 minutes so by the time ewe got there three people could not walk inside with the stairs and hills.

We had a guided tour by a genuine Beefeater Barney . It was very enjoyable with lots of history and facts . The guide was very informative telling you where to go for certain things and after the hour tour you are free to roam around and take as long as you need to explore the castle . The tour was also lots of fun . I would recommend it .

It was great to walk around and see everything. Disappointed that the tour ended up being a talk in the church versus walking around because it was lightly raining. I guess people have complained and that’s why they do it that way. Be prepared to navigate through school groups if you go mid week and during UK school session.

Having pre purchased the ticket saved standing in one less queue. Sgt. Major Kelley, our warder tour guide had a great presentation and personality! He welcomed us Americans “home”! Sadly we went on a Friday which was quite crowded. We need to take the tour again at a less crowded day.
I thought the site was one tower. It is a massive complex full of hundreds of years of history.
