This is a wonderful tour of the two towns that scenes of The Godfather were shot in. Our guide Christy was knowledgeable and had may facts that made the trip even more interesting. Bar Vitelli, in Savoca, was charming. Be sure to try their special Lemon Granita with an extra shot of liquore . There was enough time to wander around both towns. A short trip from Taormina.

Nice tour! A 50 passenger bus picked up us from the bus terminal. We visited two towns where the Godfather was filmed. We chose this particular tour over the other Godfather tours because it was a shorter duration and offered in an afternoon. If anything, you get to see 2 beautiful Italian towns,

For hardcore fans like me of the “Godfather” trilogy, this tour is a must-do. To correct some misleading reviews, our tour guide spoke pretty good English, although with an accent, and the cites we visited were open despite it’s being Sunday. The tour guide was not as knowledgeable concerning the films as she should have been. (She misidentified a scene from Part II as if it were from Part I, evidently not realizing that Part II is a prequel as well as a sequel to Part I.) But so what. The traffic jam heading back to Taormina was frustrating, but again, so what. The tour is a must for Godfather-philes..

This tour was absolutely incredible in so many ways! Our tour guide was super friendly and so knowledgeable about the Godfather films and history. She also told us great stories on the orgins of the Sicilian Mafia and history of Sicily. We actually got to meet one of the actors from the original film that lives in the town of Savoca. If you like the Godfather then definitely book this tour!

Very good tour guide who gave an excellent review of the movie while touring. She had examples of the movie on her phone that would enable us to relate the current locations to the movie. As you might imagine, the locations have changed a bit since 1970. We were allowed free time to explore and sit down in the bar where some of the movie was filmed. I would highly recommend this fun and interesting tour.

Good fun, courier was pleasant and site of film was great. don’t know about second location of a church up a mountain for a scene of godfather 2 or 3 ! Bit of a waste of time as there was nothing much else there so hanging around for those who wanted to see inside of church!

This is a must tour when in Sicily! Well organized, everything on time (was a bit hot but hey – this is Sicily). We had exceptionally good guide Christe – obviously a local legend :)(and driver Pepe) who explained us the history of Sicily, legends, and many more charmingly interesting details on the top of guiding us through the story of Godfather and village scenes where the move was filmed. This tour is a highlight of our vacation and is we absolutely recommend it!!!

A bit of a disappointment, over half hour late, the coach was not up to scratch and in the end broke down, had a replacement within 15 minutes. So the tour was rushed. Tour guide did her best , but most people done their on thing as the time was limited.

Great insightful trip. Our guide was very eloquent and knowledgeable about not just the Godfather locations covered in this trip but also about Taormina and the neighbouring areas. Must call out the bus driver as well for very expert driving up and down the hills. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.
Only point to note is that although the tour says it does hotel pickup, it doesn’t do that because of the rules around Taormina. Not the provider’s fault but would definitely be good to clarify that before booking. I’d still give it 5 stars, absolutely worth it. Especially if you are a Godfather fan!
