like in the book of Mario Puzzo and like the film godfather.
There was no electricity in Corleone, we had to pay cash, then worked again the fountain in front of the church where Michael Corleone married in godfather film. Then opened the doors of the church for the flowers of a funeral the funeral car came and in a street was parking a black historic cinquecento like in godfather film. So it seems nothing changed.
On Monreale they showed our group of 8 the normanic basilica, but in Palermo the capuccini catacombes were closed because of restauration in august 2021.

The place is a small village, the views are amazing, the people nice, the food super organic and delicious. This tour shows the stories of the real mafia, and real Italian life.

Our driver Umberto shared interesting information while driving through the countryside about the origins of the God Father in Corleone and Sicilian heritage. In Corleone, the museum was rich in history and had an authentic Sicilian restaurant where we tasted many honemade dishes. I strongly recommend!

Umberto picked us up at our hotel and gave us a wonderful tour. His English was great and he explained the history and origins of the mafia in Sicily . I he mafia museum tour was given by the grandson of the last Don in Corleone. Great tour and a wonderful day. I would recommend it

We really enjoyed this tour of the beautiful country side while our tour guide Umberto told us about the mafia history in Sicily. We stopped at a few places for pictures and stories including one where we had the best cannoli and the museum where also we tried lots of Sicilian dishes for lunch! I would highly recommend this tour!

Do it! Take this tour! Umberto was beyond amazing. Besides the sights and history, he took us to city hall and found my grandfathers home. A fully immersive experience as he knew everyone in town and the best places to eat or grab a coffee. We talked to town people and learned a lot about my family. A priceless day that I’ll remember forever.
