We had a great tour! Kara was our guide and she was terrific!
I don’t often write reviews but when I started looking at tours to book, I felt overwhelmed with all the different tours that were offered by different companies and could’ve used some honest reviews to help me choose. So here’s ours.
Kara met us at the appointed time in the appointed location- she was easy to find standing on the first step of the staircase next to the HP store in King’s Cross station. She was friendly and knowledgeable and took us on a great tour of London. She had a binder with her to show us pictures of scenes in the HP movies when we got to the locations where they filmed those exact scenes! She also showed us movie clips on her phone to demonstrate. Not all the locations were filming locations but she showed us where the filmmakers created a set that was copied from an actual London location. She was clearly a HP fan and answered all our questions.
Also our tour had maybe 14 people total! It was great- we could see what she was showing us, hear what she was saying and of course ask questions! We saw so many other tours that had 40+ people when we were at the ministry of magic. Yikes! I’m glad we booked this one – Kara said her max was 20 people.
I definitely would recommend this tour- we loved it! A highlight of our trip!

The tour was absolutely amazing. We didn’t just see filming sites but also inspiration sites for things in the books or aspects of the movies. It was the perfect tour to be brought into a real life version of Harry Potter and get a really good tour of London as well. Our guide Sam was the perfect addition with silly jokes and a well informed guide. I would absolutely do it again and recommend it to anyone interested in a walking tour.
