The dive and snorkel areas we went to were great but wished we saw a bit more variety but that’s nature. The fish life was in abundance.

My partner and I had the most amazing experience doing the outer reef tour. As a first time snorkeller in the middle of the ocean, I was hesitant, but the crew made the experience easy by giving you all equipment to make you feel comfortable. By the end of the day my life jacket was off and I had no noodle to hold on to. Best experience ever would do it again!! The first reef was the best one!

We were blessed with a beautiful sunny and not too hot day with crystal clear water. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and approachable. It was our first time doing the intro scuba dive. Very well worth it and we even got to see a turtle that we had a photo with. That was our highlight on top of seeing the beautiful reef and sealife.
I thoroughly recommend this adventure as one to put on your to do list if you’re up this way!!!

An Excellent Captain & his crew.
A great day out with a well laid designed boat & snorkelling platform to see the tropical north reef in it’s stunning variations of coloured fish and corals. The catered lunch was a tropical variety to match.
The Helicopter flight allowed an excellent platform to view the reef in it’s best colours.
Looking forward to doing more next time. Well done!

To avoid being purveyors of disappointment, let people know on booking that they may need or will need a dive medical before diving. As we had not dived for a few years due to COVID, when enquiring, I specifically asked what we needed to do to ensure we could dive and was told to drop in to your shop when we arrived in Port Douglas and we can sort it all out then. Answering a few simple questions on your pre-dive form revealed we needed to do a dive medical. We were then told the nearest certified doctor was in Cairns. On contacting this doctor we found the next available appointment was the day after our return home. We had no transport to take us to Cairns anyway.
Clearly, the claim we could sort it out on arrival was simply untrue.
On the vessel, the couple next to us, who had also booked many weeks ahead to do an Intro Dive, after filling out the pre-dive form were told they could not dive with out a medical. They were understandably disappointed and frustrated that you waited till they were on the boat to let them know.
In both our cases, we had planned our trip well ahead and could readily have organised a medical before our arrival.
The trip to the reef on SilverSonic was excellent. The food was great, as were the crew. Your booking process fails to inform people they will need a medical and shop staff who falsely claim it can all be sorted out on our arrival are greatly lacking.
Please amend your online registration to include a simple questionnaire that will alert them to a requirement for a medical.
Please inform your shop staff that they should not knowingly make false claims to those making enquires that will prevent them from enjoying the holiday to Port Douglas and visit to the reef that they have paid a lot on money to do and may not have another opportunity to do.

We signed up for the option of 2 introductory dives & 1 snorkel — the three locations visited at Agincourt Reef were stunning and subsequently better than the next. We had pre-dive nerves as this was our first time with scuba diving, but our dive master Chad was excellent and provided us with all the knowledge & guidance we needed while also remaining calm & reminding us to take it slow & enjoy the experience. I highly recommend Quicksilver & will be returning to the reef with them ASAP.

To be honest I was quite worried about snorkelling after a 60 year gap, but my concerns were unfounded. Fantastic crew, amusing and very helpful. Unlimited free tea, coffee and water and the quality of the food far exceeded our expectations. The great advantage of this trip is that we stopped at three different sites for snorkelling. I felt very safe and the experience was amazing, My goggles never steamed up and the underwater views exceeded all our expectations.

The whole experience start to finish was a very well-organized operation. The crew was knowledgeable, customer service was amazing, the boat was great and everything was on time, meals were way better than expected, and the crown jewel was obviously getting to dive the Great Barrier Reef. Did the 3 certified dives with dive master Gordon and really really enjoyed the whole thing start to finish. I was a little nervous as a less experienced diver but Gordon looked out for me and my buddy and made sure we were comfortable and diving within our limits while having a once in a lifetime experience of diving the GBR. Highly recommend!!!
