Our guide Francesca was phenomenal! We were so lucky- she took us to the best cultural landmarks as well as a cute pizza shop and we loved every minute of our tour with her- I’m so happy we got to see Rome and I have her to thank! 🙂 The van was spacious and comfortable with working AC, directions were excellent and the audio guide was a nice touch. Very happy to recommend!

Maxim picked us up outside our ship, on time, and proceeded to take us into Rome, and deliver the other passengers in our van to their hotels. Then we had a private tour, just the two of us, to every sight in Rome! Maxim gave us as much time as we wanted at every site–the Colosseum, Pantheon, Forum, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Vatican–then asked if their was any place else he could take us! He was an exceptional tour guide and driver, and we enjoyed every minute. He delivered us safely to our hotel and also arranged to provide future transportation to the airport for us. I recommend Maximus Tours without reservation, confident that you will enjoy your tour as much as we did–thanks again, Max!–Pam Timoshenko

This was a nice day trip to see Rome. Never being there before we wanted to see all the sites. This tour picked us up at the pier and took us straight to Rome to see all the major sites in an air conditioned bus. We had approximately 25-45 in each spot. Although quite rushed you do get to see everything Rome has to offer in a nutshell. The downside is that the driver is not a tour guide so you are left in a spot and have to return to the same spot for pickup, but the driver will point you in the right direction and be there for any questions. Another downside is that you can not really go into a lot of places such as colesium, St. Peter’s, etc. Obviously Rome is busy and there are long lines so this tour doesn’t not allow for visiting those places. But for someone who wanted to see Rome from the outside it is perfect. We were only 12 people on the tour.

We visited this grandiose city with Paulo, our driver who provided highlight of each point of interest through the audio device in the car. It was quite an impressive learning experience being able to witness the magnitude of the ancient culture and artistic accompaniments of Rome!

Website states 9a to 5 p. We were finished dropped off at 2:30 pm. Yes some areas were closed off but we could have used this time at other sites or gone to other sites to see. Felt very rushed. The AC in the van did not work well. It was blowing hot air
