Fun experience. The instructor was not very engaging or explained things much… we just pretty much followed a recipe, but didn’t explain much about ramen, broths, condiments… the ramen turned out great and delicious and we all had a good time but I was expecting a bit more insight on the ramen itself

My husband and I had a great time! The instructor, Nori was funny and knows her stuff. I was nervous the ramen wouldn’t be tasty, but I was wrong. My husband and I made completely different ramen bowls and they were both amazing! We can definitely make ramen on our own now! Thank you!

We had a great time at the ramen cooking class! The teachers were so kind and friendly and also gave us recommendations of some things to do nearby. Nori made the class fun and exciting. We are excited to use our new skills when we go home!

We had the Best time in Kyoto! Learning to make ramen was a fun experience. Highly recommend! Host spoke very good English. Directions were easy to follow and food was delicious.

I expected it to be fun and educational. I did not expect it to be so dang tasty. Like we went to a Michelin star the night before and this was a better experience overall. I have simple tastes, but dang that was good

Such a fun afternoon making homemade ramen! We started off taking a quick photo and watching a short video. We got to make our noodles from scratch, marinate and cook our tofu, make our broth and cook our noodles. Once all of that was done we added our boiled egg, green onions, fried onions, and chili oil. Fuku, our chef, was friendly and helpful. We liked that they offered a vegetarian option. At the end of class we got a copy of our photo and a parting gift…an apron, t-shirt, or ramen bowl. They also provide a QR code with the recipe. We had a great time and highly recommend this tour!

The experience leader Nori was very friendly and her team really brought the energy and made it a whole lot of fun!
They guided us through the process of making the ramen and explained each step and the reasoning for it: making noodles from scratch, preparing the ingredients, selecting our broth – it was all great.
At the end after we had eaten our ramen, we got a fun certificate with our pictures printed out (wearing the provided ramen chef uniforms!) and we even got to take home some souvenirs such as bowls and t-shirts, which were included in the price of admission.
On top of it all, they happily accommodated our dietary requirements (vegan and lactose intolerance). Would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, easygoing cooking class, plus a very tasty lunch.

This experience was awesome! I booked it the day before based on the reviews I read and it did not disappoint. So far, this was the best tasting Ramen I’ve had so far. The broth base is already delicious but they have you add your own flavoring as well. They used chicken due to pork taking a longer time to cook. The chicken was very flavorful as well. My husband and I both enjoyed making our own noodles and appreciated the nice souvenirs at the end.

Nori was awesome and fun!!! The class was well organized, executed and was certainly one of the most fun, memorable experiences we had in Kyoto. Also, the food was delicious and now I know how to cook it all myself, thanks to the recipe included!!!!!

Brilliant experience for our kids. Our daughter is vegetarian and they accommodated her. The two instructors were great – very patient. The end product was spectacular and my kids said it was about the best Ramen they had this trip. Highly recommend for families

The staff made it super fun for our whole family! It’s a great class for all ages. The ramen was delicious and at the end they gave us each an amazing gift. Highly recommend this.

Went with my wife and two of our friends, and we all had so much fun. The instruction was clear and engaging, and best of all, the final product was amazing. Unforgettable experience.

You make the Ramen from scratch, including marinating the chicken, making the noodles, and mixing the broth. The only thing they do “for you” is actually cooking the chicken, which I’d rather they do that anyway! The host was very friendly and had great English. You get a few souvenirs to take with you and the Ramen wad actually pretty good!
