Natalie was a great guide, making the experience relaxes and informative while providing a lot of contextual information on northern Thai cooking and ingredients. Would come back for the full-day trip.

Der Kurs hat Spaß gemacht und es wurde in der Zeit viel geboten.
Außerdem gab es eine tolle Auswahl an Gerichten, die wir selbst gekocht haben.

Great experience. The lovely farm, the good explanation of our teacher Natalie and the good food we prepared made my day. Recommend 100%.

A great well organised cooking class with our guide and teacher, Cici. It was interesting and fun as she took us first through a market and then through the organic garden showing us the herbs and fruits needed. Then with some of the food already prepared, what steps were then needed to make the delicious Thai soups and meals. Great time had by all, with what we couldn’t eat because we were satiated, we were able to take with us in doggy bags to eat later. The trip out to the farm also helped us appreciate the farm land surrounding Chiang Mai.
I would recommend this fun, delicious day to everyone who wants to have a chance to learn about Thai food. (This is from someone who has trouble boiling an egg!)

We had a wonderful time at the Thai Cooking Course. Our guide Cic showed her in depth knowledge on Thai cuisine and she was on hand every step of the way to answer any questions we had. By the end of the course we all sat down as a group and ate the delcious Thai dishes we created. A cooking course I will never forget and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The best activity we did in Chiang Mai. Lily was great and we got a ton of food out of it. They picked us up, brought us to the market, showed us their farm, and then cooked all the food from scratch. So much fun.

Lily was amazing! Such a funny and engaged teacher. The food was delicious and all of us cooking students enjoyed getting to know each other as we prepared the food and ate together. The farm/garden tour was one of my favorite parts- I’ve never seen some of those plants and they were all just beautiful!

Great experience! Our instructor Two was nice and attentive. We were a group of 10 people but I felt like he had time for all of us. A lot of things are prepared for you in advance but this just means that we had time for more dishes, we prepared spring rolls together and everyone could choose a stir fry, a curry and a soup. All the dishes turned out really yummy and you also get the recipes (and photos) later via e-mail. The farm is quite small but it is a really nice setting and we could learn about the different herbs and veggies we used. Pick-up and drop-off went smooth in an air-conditioned minivan. I think overall the class is good value for money, especially with the amount of food we made. Highly recommended!

Cici was a great instructor. Each one of us chose 3 dishes in addition to the spring rolls we all made. Cici was attentive to each one individually and created a group atmosphere.

Super fun day! They picked us up on time and we first went to the market to learn ingredients. The drive out is a beautiful view of the countryside. Step by step they guided us through to making perfect Thai dishes. I had enough left over to have dinner that night. Our group of 22 all had a great time.

Really good experience! Natty was very knowledgeable and lovely on top of that. Great day and great value for money. Photos and recipe book included was an unexpected bonus and a really nice touch. Would highly recommend this trip.

We enjoyed making our 3 dishes – the course was run efficiently and was set in a lovely location. We didn’t find the market trip that interesting but would still recommend this trip to anyone visiting Chiang Mai!
Elizabeth_H –
We loved our experience and we loved our teacher CiCi. The food was excellent! The experience was too long for us and was too much food. We wish it was spring rolls, pad thai and then a desert.

We had an amazing time on this tour and with our cool Smile. The pick up from our hotel was right in the middle of the time they told us, the bus was cool and clean. The local market we stopped out was so informational. The cooking class itself was amazing. Smile made us laugh and was so informative. Our group was only 8 people but there were 4 other groups there was well. It honestly was not a huge deal. Being able to pick exactly what you want to make was so much fun! My husband picked the Chicken Cashew stir fry, panang curry and spicy chicken soup. I picked the pad Thai, Khoa Soi and hot and creamy soup. All of these dishes were so amazing. And they send you a cookbook of them after so you don’t have to remember exactly what your did! The garden was so fun to be shown around and shown the real reason my American thai food doesn’t come out right because we don’t have the exact ingredients. Any way a half day is more than enough time and come hungry cause man it’s a lot of food! Also booking in the evening helps keep you cooler cause you aren’t cooking in the heat of the day!
