Excellent tour of the ruins of Ephesus. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the ruins and eager to show and tell us about the history and excavation of Ephesus. His enthusiasm was contagious! This was once quite an amazing city and we were surprised at the many plumbing and living conveniences that were available then. Our small group was quite enjoyable and getting on an off the small bus was so much better than the large excursion buses we usually went on. I highly recommend this excursion. We even enjoyed our ‘shopping’ stops on the way back to the ship.

We loved our guide! Aris was wonderful. we went though the ruins and learned a ton. he took us to a pottery shop and watched them make the pottery nd a rug store where we learned how they make the rugs. a great day and a great tour.

This was the best day trip. Orcun, our guide, was fabulous. The pace he set and the information he gave was perfect for a tour with and adult and 15 year old. Orcun was super friendly and easy to chat to. He seemed to know everyone we met along the way! We loved the tour of Ephesus but the highlights were the farm to table lunch in a beautiful outside setting and watching the traditional rug weaving and pottery demonstrations.
We had a great day and would totally recommend.

Our tour guide Huseyin Demir with Delos Travel, was outstanding in his skills. He was waiting for us when we arrived in Kurdasi, Turkey (cruise ship). He has excellent time management skills and he was extremely knowlegeable, reliable, personable, and professional. I would recommend Hussain as a number 1 tour guide for Esphesus. He made our day and this tour the high light of our trip.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!!! Our tour guide Mr. Orkan was one of the highlights
of our trip! We signed up for our tour last minute and we ended up getting a private tour! Mr.
Orkan facetimed us when we arrived and came into the port to get us. We had a private Sprinter
waiting for us with an amazing driver that kept us nice and cool the whole time. Our tour started
in the van as we drove to Ephesus Mr. Orkan gave us valuable insight on modern Turkish life
anenraorons.
When we arrived to the historical site of Ephesus, we got right in without any wait time. The
site was breathtaking and our tour gave us such great insight on the way people lived over 2000
years ago. From the temple of Artemis to the Library of Celsus we got the inside scoop on how
it was built, who built it, and who was using these sights. Besides the amazing Library, (which
we were told had an underground tunnel to the brothel LOL) we got to test out the great
ampitheater. Our guide encouraged my boyfriend to get up on stage and see if the acoustics
were still rockin- which they were!
After, we had a little time to explore on our own and then it was back in the van to see some of
Turkey’s best export- leather. Our guide brought us to an amazing leather warehouse where given a private fashion show.
We LOVED this TOUR and our GUIDE! Be sure to book your tour ASAP!!!!

We loved booking this tour in Ephesus. It was quite a bit cheaper than booking through the cruise ship, and it was so much better to have a private guide and not have to travel on a bus with 50 other people. Our guide, Orcun, met us at the cruise port and was very knowledgeable about the places we went. We probably could have done without the leather and carpet stores at the end of the tour, but I understand that it’s part of their business to try and sell those things. When I booked this excursion, the agency also reached out to me to see if I was stopping in Istanbul, which I was, and if I wanted a private guide there for our stop. Again, it was so much cheaper than booking anything through the cruise ship, and it was so nice to travel privately. Fatma was absolutely fabulous as she guided us around the city and knew the perfect itinerary and places to go. And both times, they were very dedicated to getting us back on the ship on time. Would definitely recommend!

It’s great to see Ephesus , however our guide was terrible! I cannot emphasize that enough. She was late to arrive, had an attitude, and shouldn’t even have come. She said she was sick so she had to sit in the front and we couldn’t hear anything she was saying. She rushed us through the tour because she wanted to take us shopping afterwards which we already told her we didn’t want to do. She could be 30 feet ahead of us during the tour. It was also supposed to have a biblical slant to the tour which was confirmed after booking. It absolutely did not Very disappointing!!

We had a fabulous time on the tour. The car was beautiful and waters were provided for us. Our guide was very knowledgeable and set up a ruins itinerary with us based on our requests. She also showed us to some of the best shopping spots where we purchased amazing leather jackets that were like nothing we have ever seen before. We also had a private fashion show; pretty awesome!
