Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and flexible. He customized our experience to our requests and it was amazing! He organized our trip to avoid the crowds and gave us helpful tips along the way like where to buy a water, use the toilet, etc. The best day ever! He answered all our questions, was very thoughtful and courteous so that we had a wonderful, flawless, enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

So special to visit where Paul preached. Ancient Ionian, Greek, Roman history dating back thousands of years. You can see the changes in the architecture with each occupation. Very interesting especially for history or art buffs. Our guide, Rita was well educated and shared her knowledge. Food was local and tasty. Additionally the guide was very accommodating to make extra stops on on scheduled tour. Great deals at the leather factory…60% off and sales rack had soft stylish jackets for $300!!!

Our time with Tolga was nice. We got to see Virgin Mary’s home, ancient Ephesus, the last column from Artemis temple, and St. John’s basilica. Tolga was knowledgeable & answered our questions. Our driver was always ready for us.
Besides Ephesus, our (surprisingly) favorite part was going to the carpet educational center. There was NO pressure at all, and they showed us lots of different types of rugs and how they are made. These people were amazing! We walked around on the carpets with our bare feet, which was fun. We did not buy a rug, but we definitely would have purchased from them if we wanted to buy one at all. They teach the art of hand weaving to those willing to learn. Then we had a nice lunch at the restaurant right next to the carpet store.
Our guide was easy to find and communicate with, and he had us back to our ship in plenty of time. Highly recommend.

Azime was a wonderful guide. She met us there as soon as we got off the ship. She made us feel like guests in her home. Learned so much about the history and culture and food of the area. This was our favorite tour from our cruise to the Mediterranean. Azime made a beautiful country even more beautiful with her welcoming smile, friendly conversation and stories of her personal experiences in the area. Private tours are worth the extra money.
